Frozen Planet

The first episode of Frozen Planet II was on last night. If anyone can get the BBC1 schedules back to normal, it's Attenborough!

 

 

 

 

The wildlife footage was amazing (of course), but the most spectacular bit was the overhead shot of an iceberg calving off a glacier. I was pleased that that was the section they focused on in the Making Of at the end of the episode - I was wondering how long it took them to get that shot!

It is in 4k on iplayer.

 

And it looks absolutely spectacular, as expected. The music is way too much though.

It's in 4K HDR on iPlayer using the app built into my LG TV, but not when using the app on my (current gen) Apple TV.

Apple doesn't support the HLG HDR that the BBC use because Apple.
