Full teams in MP could go mental in this - it's shit having some random idiot run about giving away position.

true, but as you'll get better, you'll be lumped together with higher and higher level players. Then - it becomes 2/3 stupendous 1/3 ultra-frustrating how engrossing the matches become (especially survivor) Hang on in there - it only improves!

They're permanent, as you might expect from how scarce the supplements are! If they were temporary you wouldn't get much chance to use them ever.

Awesome cheers! Now those bloody clickers, whats the best way to deal with them when you have no molotovs left, bullets don't seem to do anything?

Once you have the resources its worth splashing out on the Anti-Ticker Shiv perk. Unless you're playing on Survivor or above, in which case your shivs are probably too valuable.

Tried and tested method is: sneak up behind 'em with a brick. Wait for the grab prompt so you know you're in range. Then mash square 3 times real fast to cave their head in. This will of course make quite a racket, so be aware of others etc.

Oh cool I didn't know I could bash them with a brick. They seem to eat bullets so I've given up trying to shoot them. I'm playing on normal and it's definitely a challenge for someone who prefers to kill everything than sneak through undetected, mainly because I like to have a clean area to search for collectibles. I must have opened every locker, bookcase, wardrobe in Fallout 3 its probably why I spent over 300 hours playing it.

Had a really bad problem with crushed blacks on the dark underground section of this last night. Like everything was covered in a shiny film. Had I not of played through this before I honestly don't think I would of got past it - underwater was fine but pop you head out of the water and it looked terrible almost like every texture had disappeared.

I tried everything from changing the PS4's RGB settings, recalibrating the TVs black levels and nothing worked. I know people will probably say it's the TV settings but I have not had this problem with any other game/film.

As soon as I came outside the picture looks crystal clear and beautiful again.

The tunnel near first swimming section with the subway carriages is very 'smudgey', for want of a better word. I don't remember it looking like that on the original. Yes, I'm aware it's pitch black + spores, but it didn't look quite right. :/

Two headshots will do it but you need to have good aim.

Yeah I've realised this now and since using the supplements to reduce weapon sway they have gone down by gunfire though I only shoot them when I have to. I still find molotoving groups of them the most efficient because they tend to run into the fire. BURN!!!

Hmm, I've played a bit and .. it looks exactly the fucking same. This should be £19.99, tops. The 60fps is nice, but that and the photo mode is all it brings to the table. The difference the increased resolution makes is, to my eyes at least, negligible.

The resolution, considerable boost to image quality, much higher res textures and massively improved in-game character models leapt out immediately to me. I tried the PS3 version just to check I wasn't overstating it, and it's extremely blurry and tough to play (shoddy frame rate) in comparison.

With that said, it is only a remaster and not a remake, so it's not hard to see why the PS3 version will get the rose tinted treatment. I recall being non-plussed with Ocarina of Time on the 3DS until I actually looked back at the N64 version.

£19.99 talk is silly though. It's not like a tossed out re-release of a several year old game that has been out on every format under the sun, it's effectively a superior 'game of the year' edition of a 2013 PS3 exclusive, released at a tenner less than the going rate for a PS4/XB1 game. That's fair. I wish it only cost a fiver to buy my favourite films in HD on Blu Ray or through iTunes though.

The

upside down shooting bit in the warehouse

is spectacularly irritating. I was having a great time playing it this afternoon up to there. I can see I'll be able to do it, so it's not like I'm going to have a massive rant and declare I'll never play the game again, but it's fucking annoying to have a nice session punctuated by it.

Yeah I hated that bit, really annoying.

Couldn't you have checked out the media available online before buying it and coming to the same conclusion?

Not to mention the game is still full price on PS3, so the £19.99 price point was never going to happen.

Despite that 60FPS bring a lot, to me. The gunplay is far improved, personally I think it's an incredible port, the 1080p is beautiful and I think you're crazy if you feel it does nothing for the game. In fact, the cutscenes in this are probably the best i've seen so far on the new gen consoles, only Shadow Fall really compares.

Don't forget it would still cost £12 to buy Left Behind on it's own, so really you're paying £18 for the base game and the multiplayer DLC, which brings it under £20 anyway.

I found that bit to be pretty easy, but got annoyed a bit later on the

jump-starting the car

section. Even after taking time to clear the area beforehand (or so I thought).
