There appears to be a little confusion on a couple of things;

-Overseas signing

This can be any player in the world who is non prem/championship. You can only enquire about 1 player, I suggest you look at your own player values, if you have a similar player use them to get an idea and the overseas player is going to be in excess of that!

The process for this is-

-give me the name of the ONE player you would like to enquire about.

-as soon as I am able to I will give you there price and wage.

-You then have 72 hours to choose wether or not to buy the player.

-if you sign the player you have to wait till the deadline, this is to ensure that other managers have the opportunity to enquire about that player.

-if you choose not to sign him or can't afford him. He will be put up for grabs in the thread, where bidding will take place.

That all make sense?

-selling/buying

All deals within the league are to be done with the other managers, you need to get in touch with them to buy there players, and Ofcourse you can advertise stout own players in this thread if needs be.

The one 'overseas' signing - a few questions.

Say I want to sign the legend that is Jeff Smith and you quote him as costing £5m, with wages of a pack of chewits. I agree.

How long do the other managers have to decide if they want to 'trump' me.

Also, say Timmo bids £6m and offers him two packs of chewits in wages, and therefore gets him (you bastard Timmo) can I still nominate/bid on other 'overseas' signings, and Timmo loses his overseas nomination?

I.E. Would it be Timmo or myself who would lose their 'overseas' signing allocation?

Other managers don't just decide if they want to trump it. Other managers won't be made aware, the only way someone can drag you into a bidding war is if they happen to enquire about that same player.

What about players playing for Prem teams that have not been selected (eg Arsenal players for example)

They are dead to us now! Untouchable.

THIS IS PANTSCHESTER.

So McSkill, how happy are you to start managing everyone's second favourite team?

Well it's an obvious fit really. They are the best premiership team in Fifa and I'm the best looking person in the league.

Riiiight.... Only some people question the appointment because Man City want to win titles and you, well you're.... er,....

I'm what?

Well, you're shit.

*pause*

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

HAHA.

HA.

Yes, I may not have ever been out of the conference. Yes my current FiFA12 record against Wincho is W2 L8. Yes, alright, I may only be able to do the roulette skill move. But when I do, 60% of the time it works all the time. Anyway, up to now, it's all been just a ruse.

Oh so you think you're going to beat Jamin then?

No.

Steely?

No.

Pompey?

Hell no.

Smithstock?

Funny story, he beat me 7-0 the other day.

Timmo?

No.

Manic?

No.

Wincho? Surely Wincho? You must be able to beat Wincho?

Does a draw count as a win? Then yes.

So where are your points going to come from then? Why should anyone think you will not be rock bottom at the end of the season?

Because I will win at LIFE. At the end of the season, look at the table. You'll see I'm a winner then. You'll see that I am one of a kind, an enigma, a maverick, a playboy, a champion of ideologies, a hero of the people, a true force of good and wonder thrusting this world into a better universe.

Oh yeah, that makes sense. So what about Carlos Tevez then?

Carlos Tevez is duly invited to COME AND LICK MY HAIRY BALLS. THAT MELTED-FACED FUCK WILL NEVER SET FOOT IN MY TEAM AGAIN. HE IS GETTING CUNTING SOLD TO ARSE.

Fuck me there's some effort gone into this steelios!

So much in fact that I have no idea what I'm doing.

I'll be scouting some average to fair talent later as I don't want to waste my one import on (for example) Messi and discover he's way to expensive and Pants has signed him with his £100M* warchest.

QPR unveil new manager

He's welsh and he's mediocre!

30173433-01_big.jpg

Hot blonde woman from ESPN: Mark Hughes the Welsh dragon, welcome to QPR. Your initial thoughts at joining the club?

MH: Well wench, you listen up good. I'm fucking outraged at my transfer warchest. I was sure there must've been a hilarious admin error, and the figure was missing a '0'. But no. Our fucking chairman - that Tony Fernandes chap - he is one tight tight bastard.

Ps - nice edit Jamin. I was thinking what the fuck your measley warchest had to do with me!

MADE IN CHELSEA

New for 2012, London based designer Stam Fordbridge presents his Winter transfer line. With the FTL transfer window bursting wide open this week the news will be of great interest to a host of other managers. Looking to fund a potential big move or just trying to balance the books? It remains to be seen. One thing is for sure though... no matter how many moves the Chelsea designer can make he is going to take a lot of skelpings this season!

post-20590-015991000 1326312431_thumb.jp

Brazilian, has a wicked shot and looks like a poor mans Vin Diesel. Add this sturdy defender to your wardrobe and you wont be disappointed... for a season at least.

post-20590-084358300 1326312457_thumb.jp

Little portugese full back coming into the twilight of an impressive career. Believes he still has a lot to offer, only time and the right move will tell.

post-20590-007358200 1326312489_thumb.jp

A controversial one here but presents a fantastic opportunity for any midfield. Likes to score the odd goal but has yet to find a position where he truly belongs.

post-20590-010888800 1326312475_thumb.jp

Sports a shaggy mohican even though he is losing his hair... SOLD.

post-20590-076764000 1326312446_thumb.jp

French legend who just cant seem to force his way into the new managers plans. Moody as fuck but has the ability to be a goal machine in the right team.

Fordbridge also expressed an interest in developing some other transfers but wouldnt confirm anything, "There are still some things I am looking into as things move so fast in our industry and you have to be on your toes. I certainly wouldnt rule anything out at this stage though and I look forward to seeing what interest people have in my other potential transfers."

Steelios, me old 'mucker/chairman, can we just 'dump' players we don't want to reduce the wage bill.

I've just caught Kadar (WHO??! I hear you all ask!) shagging Wincho's mrs (she's our groupie/WAG/clinger on type, but off limits for bottom feeders like him) and it's caused quite a stir round the camp. I'd like to sack him. He can carry on plundering mrs winch all he likes that way, the most satisfying resolution for all involved, I'm sure you'd agree.

Also Steel, say if I give Lionel Messi a ring to see how he might fancy joining up with the mighty blue and white hoops, and it turns out he costs more than five turnips (my entire transfer budget - cheers Tony <_< ) and so I can't sign him, can I then enquire about someone different?

If two people enquire on a foreigner is it just those two who enter a bidding war or can anyone with the bucks chip in?

If a player is enquired about but rejected, is his starting price for everyone else the same price as that quoted to the enquirer?

Can the person initially turning him down change their mind and enter the bidding war?

It's such a shame there's so much talent just rotting in the Pantschester Shitty reserves.

Talent that could help all those slightly less fortunate teams out there immeasurably.

For example, we certainly don't need four CDM's. Especially when they have over 40 international caps each.

(Acceptable prices and wage demands available on request)

Tottenham are looking to trim the squad, its has been mooted that several high profile players are up for grabs. Prices to be negotiated.

Cudicini - GK

Huddlestone - CDM

Dos Santos - AT/LM/RM

Pavlyuchenko - ST

Adebayor - ST

Several other unknown, reserve youngsters with high pace and dribbling

However, any of the first team may also be available for the right price.

Mersey Massacre

Pool of 'pool players not cool enough for school prepare to be culled

Liverpool manager Tim O has today begun to assess his team for players he will allow to transfer.

Although he has a strong liking for fat, greasy, alcoholic gypsies with a history of domestic violence, he has santioned the possible sale of Andy Carroll - for the right price.

Rated 80, 6 foot 3 Andy Carroll has 90+ strength, 85+ heading accuracy and 81 finishing. He also favours his left foot, making him a good partner for a fast right-footed striker. Carroll is the ultimate target man for a team looking to cross the ball a lot.

Carroll facts

  • Top scientists discovered that Andy Carroll technically has more in common with a bulldozer than an average human man
  • Andy Carroll can run 100m in under 11 seconds, provided you stop counting a few seconds before he finishes
  • Andy Carroll's favourite Christmas-related read is pocket-sized reference book "Handy Carols"

Face-melt on request

Tim O will answer queries on all his players, but is understood to be storing Luis Suarez in a small box and hoping the air lasts for eight matches. The box may be opened at the right price but it can't be guaranteed your face won't melt like in Indiana Jones. BRING PROTECTION.

Boro Bemoan Budget

Steely Mowbray is up against it! Worst team in the league with a very poultry budget of approximately 5million and 45k wages.

Signings will have to be clever for the Boro boss if he is to get the most out it, as money from selling players clearly isn't an option due to the low demand.

A couple of friendlies for Middlesbrough last night highlighted some key areas for improvement but it wasn't all negative, the likes of Ogbeche and Barry Robson defied there low ratings with some superb play.

"I have got a good idea of where I want to buy players, I am happy with my midfield, we could do with another left back and another keeper is certainly required for backup. And perhaps a winger, someone with A bit of zip! And quick feet.

I say we would be looking to spend under a million per player. We are putting this out there in hope that clubs will come to us with realistic offers.

Sorry another quick question, are cash plus player transfers allowed? I.e. if a figure of £5m is quoted for me to buy Jimmy from another team and I offer £2.5m plus my Timmy (whose min value is £2.5m), would this be allowed to go through? (Obviously subject to the other player accepting the deal and has enough wages to accomodate Timmy etc...).
