I turned the auto-play of trailers off, but it also turns off the ability to choose to watch trailers of shows you are interested in.  The option basically just turns trailers off full stop.  It's really annoying, as I CANNOT STAND autoplaying trailers while I'm browsing, but my missus keeps complaining that she can no longer select to watch a trailer if she's interested, so I'm going to have to turn it back on.

Jeez, Netflix, it's not the trailers that are the problem, it's the autoplay.  That can't be hard to understand, surely?

Can you not view the trailers in the Trailers tab of a shows info page? That works for me.

The trailer option disappeared from that tab after we switched the autoplaying off.

Edit: this is on the PS3 app, so there's not a tab as there is on the browser version.

Best thing to do with that film is pretend it doesn't exist. And I bloody love Bottom.

Yeah I watched it on video once years ago and seem to recall that being the case but my daughter hadn’t seen it. It’s terrible stream quality though. Will just give it a miss I guess.

I was surprised at the cast though, some big names in there.

Weirdly I'm really enjoying Space Force. The first episode was patchy but it started to bed in after that. I can see why it hasn't exactly hit the ground running though as it's neither broad comedy nor satire. Tonally it is odd; I've watched it with my 11 year-old son and we were proper chuckling at the monkey bits and the 'tap, tap' stuff but then there will be a 'motherfucker' thrown in for no reason. I don't blanch at bad language but as the humour is very teatime adolescent it's an odd juxtaposition.

I found that with Magic for Humans, an enjoyable little magic/comedy show that's perfectly family-friendly for several episodes at a time then suddenly throws in a joke about anal sex or wanking. I just wish they'd leave it out.

Last Dance is unreleased footage porn. I can’t believe it exists.

Late to the party but finished this last week. Extraordinarily good doc, even for someone not that fussed about basketball (I know you shoot hoops or at least used to).

Not a new one, but currently watching Giri/Haji (Duty/Shame), and it's great so far.

It's about a Japanese detective who's sent to London to find his criminal brother, who was missing presumed dead, but now might have murdered someone to trigger a Yakuza war back in Tokyo.

Still got a few episodes to go, but would definitely recommend. Lots of nice writing/acting/directing.

You haven't listed it but if you've seen Saul then you must've watched Breaking Bad, right?

Kath & Kim is the best thing on Netflix by a country mile.

"Meh, it’s been 39 days. Fancy watching something?"

Certainly do, Netflix. Fancy putting the bit rate back to normal?

Ha! Don't tell me you've been paying for Netflix but stoically refusing to watch it because of a bitrate thing as opposed to either reducing or cancelling your sub?

Nah, they just keep sending me "PLEASE, COME BACK, WE HAVE SHOWS YOU'VE WATCHED" emails. I've cancelled.

@grounded_dreams Much appreciated, we love a good docu.

@Gambit Yep, Breaking Bad has been done, missed off the list.

@Fierce Poodle Yep, forgot Making A Murderer too (he totes did it!).

@Professor Puzzles Spookily enough we plumped for that in the end, one episode in & hooked (shame there's only 3 more eps to go).

@Steely Cheers bud!

@ZOK @ckny @Mike S Ta all, will explore all of these!
