Btw, Lego the Movie is up on norwegian Netflix.

Thanks for spotting me and the missus watched this tonight and thought it was excellent (if I was being cynical I would say its been "laser" targetted to people who grew up with Lego who now have kids, I.e. me)

There are some Rabbids cartoons - as in UniSoft's Raving Rabbids - on French Netflix. They're all in French but it matters not one but as it's just silly visual slapstick comedy. My six year old son has just been laughing himself stupid at them for the last hour.

Postman Pat the Movie and Pudsey the Movie are both on UK Netflix. The latter makes Pat seem like Citizen Kane. Not a recommendation so much as a warning for those with kids.

For those who aren't aware, the person responsible for bringing Pudsey to the big screen is Digitiser legend Mr Biffo (AKA Paul Rose)

There's a great blog post about how the film came to be here - http://www.digitiser2000.com/main-page/panel-4-both-sides-of-the-fence

I was curious to see how bad Postman Pat was and skipped through the film. It's utterly mental, no idea how this got shown in cinemas. Parents must have been fuming. It looks like a low end TV kids show animation. I saw Jesse the cat with lasers coming out of it's eyes, multiple robot Pats and then real Postman Pat singing with the voice of Rowen Keaton. Then at the end all the characters are singing and dancing together. Bonkers.

That's a great read. Thanks. To be fair, my kids enjoyed Pudsey so it was successful enough on that note.

Series 2 eventually becomes the best one other than one particular small thread. Series 3 is terrible. I bailed out of S4 halfway through a month back. Not feeling it any more.

American Horror Story series 2 - I stuck with it and around episode 4 the whole bonkersness of it kicked in and I started really enjoying it

I've been watching The Following on the US site. Kevin Bacon stars in this series about a serial killer and his followers. I'm on season 2 now, having consumed the first over Christmas. Surprisingly good (& violent) thriller series.

Sabotage is on UK Netflix. It raises some interesting questions, such as a) why did I watch that and b) what was I hoping to achieve?

I watched that on one of the other regions a few weeks back & the only good point I could get out from the movie was that I could now take it off my Lovefilm by post service & enjoy something else instead.

I enjoyed Locke, which for some reason I had thought was an American production; it was a surprisingly engaging and almost beautiful film. Amused though to see a credit for "costume designer" on the film. Must have been a real tough gig that one, hours of agonising over a jacket and shirt option versus the final jumper ^_^

Some oldies but goodies up there now, the Omen trilogy, cube, taking of Pelham 123.....
