But that's Dr Who. I'll give you the Crowman but Wurzel nooooo.

What about the appropriately named 'Living dead Scarecrows' and the travelling scarecrow maker from Worzel Gummidge Down Under?

With the tin like voodoo doll? Now that's scary!

Some real corkers in here...amazing call on Boggy Creek...!!

So lying here trying to sleep (off my skull on high strength flu medication) and this popped into my head....(details thanks to Google):

Early 80's, called Child's Play (no, not that one). It was a Hammer 1hr about a family trapped in their home by strange metal walls. Absolutely evil.

Sleep tight.

God, I remember that. Wasn't the twist

it was a doll's house and they were trapped in a vent?

Or was that something else?

We've been watching some of the Hammer series as they're being shown on Horror channel at the moment. Some of them are still genuinely a bit disturbing (the hitchhiker with the long nail and bad teeth) and even the bad ones are cheesily enjoyable. I'll keep an eye out for Child's Play being on.

Not a film but....

Quiet as a Nun. The ONLY thing that quite literally scared me shitless when I was a nipper, and I watched pretty much every 'video nasty' there was at the time.

Even the credits and music (and the night-time Thames television logo) to the armchair thriller series still brings goosebumps.

Hold me... :omg:
