Another instance was seeing a code on a wall and trying to put the code in. I bottled the inputs are vouched for taking the zombies out. Anyway after killing like 5 of them I went back to the room opened it up in find a tiny closet with nothing in it!!! Basically a completely waste of time.

Did anyone get into the room?

I don't see the point of basically spawning 5 zombies to block yourself in a tiny room!?

I think the point was it was a trap and you were taking a risk to try and get in there, knowing full well it could unleash zombie hell without knowing what was in there.

Another example of the game ratcheting tension in a cruel fashion.

Its magnificent stuff really

Had a major glitch playing last night.

In the nursery basement, I was killed by an exploding zombie and after respawning went back to recover the medicine, but I'm now stuck down there. The door which scans as opened won't, no press x to open option, the and there's no other way out. After googling, it seems others have had the same if you die in the basement. Really don't want to start all over again.

So upset as I absolutely love this game :(

For the first time playing I had to turn it off last night. I couldn't go on through the

Nursery

because it was, put simply, absolutely fucking horrendous and scaring the tits off me. I haven't been scared by something like that since I watched REC. I know I'm a fucking wuss but Jesus H Corbett, it's just ridiculous.

The Nursury is quite daunting indeed, though in reality it's fairly doable. Some bits, especially downstairs, are noteworthy scary. To bad the whole location isn't that well constructed in terms of game design considering the dead ends.

REC actually made me hardly sleep for a few nights. Then again, that film didn't give me a cricket bat and a Magnum Pistol to deal with zombies ^_^

Version 2.0 thanks for dying by the Tower of London, your bag was full to the brim with sweet loot. I couldn't Even take it all!

Glad I could help! Was such a stupid death as well. Cleared out all the zombies around the water edge, was about to go through the tunnel bit and saw a lone zombie straight ahead and decided to kill him but managed to mess it all up by checking around to see if any others were coming and got scratched to death.

Gah! They did me at the supermarket! Such a great use of the pad in this makes it really immersive. I feel like starting again though, I hated losing my life in this. In Dark souls it felt more of the play mechanic, in this game as you start as a new survivor the loss feels a bit more acute. The pace and atmosphere is great as its usually Benny Hilling around a map in zombie games.

Found another rllmuker zombie who i duffed up outside the gas station. Their stash was incredible with about 30 rounds of shotgun ammo and 4 med kits. Am i being a wanker by fantasing about the poor sod getting back to his old character only to find that ive looted the bugger.

Does it actually work like this, or does the game just take random names from those on your friends list and scatter zombies around the place with random (good) loot stashed on them?

Has anyone been able to confirm that what they had in their backpack when they died matched what someone else found on their zombie in their own game?

I think its tough on purpose, to show you dying doesn't work like in other games and is almost a tutorial in dying. It is frustrating as it breaks every rule of dying in other games but i think it is needed. Just let deaths happen until it ends and then realise that when it ends the character you are with is your starting one.

Christaylor - It does work kind of as described. If someone dies in a certain area you are notified where they are. The loot you get is what they had on them, could be nothing, could be loads of stuff. It all depends on that actual persons game. However if you take their loot it isn't removed from their game or anyone elses. A persons character can appear in multiple players games at the same time, but after that what happens next doesn't affect anyone else.

Was bored earlier so strolled into town and picked up the Zombi-U Premium Pack.

I'd never seen a Wii-U pad in the flesh before, so was kinda shocked at how large it is. Feels good in your hands though, not too unwieldly.

Loving what i've played of this game so far. Very atmospheric! Can see me spending plenty of time with it.

Merry Christmas to me! lol! :D
