Xbox One Console Thread

I bought an Xbox yesterday, it came with a couple of vouchers: 1 month of Live Gold (not valid for current members), 1 month free trial of Xbox game pass (not valid for current members and previous trial users). I can't use them as I currently have the ultimate game pass thing. Are they of any use to anyone here? If they are, PM me and I'll send them on.

Good man. Are you aware of the insanely good Game Pass Ultimate deal that's till running whereby you can basically get it for £1 for upto 36 months?

I have heard of it, but know nothing of it. I saw mention of maybe including Live as well or did I misunderstand? Because my Live is up for renewal very soon...

Ok, so here’s the deal (and this is assuming you’ve never had a Game pass ultimate subscription before) :). Renew your Xbox live Gold and then take out the Game Pass Ultimate £1 trial and lo and behold it gives you GPU for the entire length of your Gold subscription for that one single pound!! Even better you can stack it (for up to 36 months) so if you were to grab 36 months of gold and then take out the trial then yup, 36 months of GPU (which has a ton of great games on it) for one measly quid!! Enjoy :)

That’s amazing, thank you!

Thanks fellas. How do I go about buying from Amazon Spain then? Are there any import duties to pay or anything?

Its also showing as €188.92 as well, which is around £160. I think that’s it anyway. My Spanish isn’t very good.

Yeah sorry, but it's now showing as only for sale through vendors and for a fair bit more too.

Ok. So my original Xbox One is at my former partners home. I left it so the kids could use it. It's signed into my account so they have access to all of my games.

Am I right in thinking I can be signed in on two consoles with my one account? And one should be the primary/home console, which I obviously want to be my new one. I'm assuming that's fairly simple to do and won't affect the console she has?

No, you'll have to leave theirs as the primary one. On yours just log on your gamertag but don't make it your Home Xbox.

I've just found the guidance from MS:

"When you change home consoles, all device licenses for digital content will move to your new home Xbox. These device licenses will no longer be available on your previous home Xbox. In other words, when you switch your home Xbox, access to your content comes with you to your new home Xbox, and anyone signed in can enjoy it. Your previous home Xbox will still give your friends and family access to your stuff when you’re signed in to it."

So if I make my new Xbox my home Xbox, she could just sign in to the Xbox I left at her house (using my account obviously) and she would have access to everything again, right?

@Nein just to (hopefully) clarify: every other account on an Xbox One will have the benefits of the primary account on that Xboc. So if your former partner has her own account on that Xbox, she will have access to all the games associated with the primary account on that Xbox. If it's set as your home Xbox, she never needs to sign in as you. She'll have access to your games because it's set as your home Xbox.

On the new Xbox that will be at your home, you will  NOT set it as your home Xbox. Because that will fuck the other Xbox. You'll simply sign into your account and have access to everything that's yours that way. Downside is that you'll not have access to your digital content if your internet goes out. But once you're back online, you'll have access to everything again.

Don't sign into the same account simultaneously on different machines, that doesn't work. She has to have her own (free) account on the Xbox that's set as your home Xbox, that way you can both play your games at the same time no problem.

This what I was after, cheers!
