What are your views on Tax Efficient Supply Chain Management, Smitty?

He doesn't have any. He's just trying to wind me up, which is a shame since instead I'm just amused by how little he knows regarding what companies actually do.

Why is it that you city parasites can never be honest about what you do? Why so shy?

Smug middle class tax evasion specialist bellitles ignorant prole.

The strange thing about Xevious and people like him is that they feel themselves to be civic minded people. The drivers of our society, even.

I asked my mate the other day whilst we were dodging tax (which is actually a physical thing, the tax man comes in and you have to avoid his balls of fury, a tad like wipeout).

Apparently, it's pronounced "Del-oi't"

You have until this afternoon. There are a few of us on there now.

Careful you don't click on the link that takes you to the Deloitte website where it tells you about the things they do, since that's obviously a closely guarded secret.

I was completely out of cash and ideas! :)

Bloody Italian Fencers (is that a word?) is what I really needed.

I think they were pretty expensive. But yeah, six points in one go would have been handy ...

But then we shouldn’t be surprised. I’ve long argued the four biggest threats to democracy in the world are PWC, KPMG, Deloitte and Ernst & Young because they are, together, the biggest global network designed to undermine the revenues of democratically elected governments with intent to ensure that those governments can’t command the resources needed to deliver the services their electorates want and expect which action on their part has to surely undermine democracy and faith in it faster than anything else could.

We’re just seeing that writ large in this speech.

Respectable people like Xevious and his dodgy employer are responsible for plenty of suffering in the world - but he feels the real villians are people who go to protests and cause a bit of trouble.

Instructive.

You could just save time and admit that you don't know what accountancy firms do. Not that I work in the accountancy part of it.

Does he even work in the tax division? Deloitte do actually do other stuff you know.

No, I don't work in tax. Of course, that matters not to Smitty.
