It's not great. I much preferred Darkplace and Snuff Box when it comes to Matt Berry. His schtick of pronouncing certain words in a 'funny' way' is wearing thin. Plus pulling funny faces as well from ep1? Amusing for 2 seconds but the show is pretty lazy all round.

Definitely. I find it very watchable and when it's funny it can be laugh-out-loud hilarious, but it swings from being hilarious to terrible several times within a single episode, let alone a series. I'll continute to watch it though, because I do like it. The highlight for me has easily still been the Michael Ball episode from series one.

I enjoyed series one, but I feel the good bits from season two could probably be compiled into one half-hour show. However, when it's good, it's very good. It'd be interesting to see which parts Berry and Matthews are responsible for individually and how much of a collaborative effort it actually is - I do sometimes get the sense that it's trying to go in two directions at once. I'd have to rewatch it to check, but perhaps that's the difference with series one.

I was a little surprised it was picked up for a third series, but I'm glad because I think Matt Berry deserves a steady income.

I think this is pretty good! Is no-one watching it? I caught the first episode of season 3 after Peep Show, and I downloaded the rest. It's very hit and miss, but when it's hot it's hot. The insane comedy villains are pretty much all amazing. I love Harry Peacock as Ray. Shades of Tim McInnerny.

I didn't hear about this until series 2 and then wrote it off as shit after about half an episode (the tour bus one), but gave the new series another go (because it happened to be on directly after Peep Show and I didn't bother switching over) and am loving it so far!
