Am I only one having problems with bugs in this?

It keeps locking up my xbox, having sound looping errors, and graphics errors with some or all of the screen going black.

It was fine for the first couple of levels but I can't make it through the next level because of it.

Delete and download again. If the problem persists you might be looking at the first signs of an RRoD....

What Gerbik said - hopefully a corrupted download, otherwise those are symptomatic of your hardware starting to fail...

It's the only game I have issues with and it seems like a bug with the software. The 'black' error seems to be to do with how it controls the dark areas which seems to fuck up sometimes.

It's my 5th 360 so I'm more than familiar with the signs of a RROD. I do need a bigger hard drive though so I might just get a new console instead of an HD.

I suppose it is quite blurry in the areas you can't see, but that's the point. There's a lovely fog of war effect in the game that really adds to the gameplay. Without it, you wouldn't get those moments where you're standing just below a ledge, trying to read the flash of a guard's torch to see if it's time to pounce.

Gah just got to the end of Chapter 3 and the target who should appear in the room doesn't even although I do get the speech about what to do with him now he's there, the target marker points to a room nearby that I can't get back to and restart checkpoint doesn't solve the problem so annoyingly I'm going to have to restart the level. I know this game is designed for multiple runthoughs but I enjoy seeing each level first and cack handedly making my way through it but it's still incredibly annoying to have a bug like this.

I got a new hard drive and transferred the game over from the usb stick I was playing it off and now it seems fine. I had similar problems with Fez...

It's awfully dark and blurry, isn't it? I suppose it's kind of the point, but it doesn't make it any easier. Still, interesting mechanics, this will take some time to master.

You did set the darkness correctly at the beginning, right?

When games ask me to do this the default is nearly always perfect, but for this game I had to crank the brightness right up to be able to just see the ninja.

Did the 3rd stage last night...went for the no killed enemies and not detected achievement. Came out the othe side about 45 mins later with the achievement and ice cold tea! lol! Was totally sucked in! :)

Quality game, only thing I'm not keen on is the cutscenes, they're a little bit Ben10

This is just amazing. Few games offer so many moments where a gaming mechanic reveals itself and you say "Get IN!" - My youngest son is playing it in the other room, taking his time and enjoying it (hes only on Level 2 atm) and every time he says it, I take a look in and grin.

The first level alone has loads but you genuinely dont expect quite so many on level 2 (spoilers below- Dont read if you have yet to play it!)

Lasers!

Dragging a body to shut them down!

Challenge Rooms!

Terrorizing a guard by chucking a corpse!

Noise Makers!

Delayed lights!

Couple the brilliant gameplay mechanics with controls that are precise, intuitive and comprehensive (really difficult to pull off) and score attacks, leaderboards, multiple solutions.. just a gem of a game.

Nope, I set the gamme as told to 'logo/figure barely visible'. Now I returned it to default and it's much better. I might even crank it up a bit more.

Love this game, it really makes you feel like a bad ass when it works out and awfully weak when it doesn't. I love that kind of balance in a game.
