Tremonti album is out now.

2 songs i'm not too keen on but the rest is stonking!

Been giving it a digital spin today and it really is another enjoyable as fuck record from Tremonti & crew.

I came here to recommend the new Vektor but Talvalin has already (and rightly so) sent you all off to the outer reaches of the cosmos.

When you return, have a listen to this from Haken's new album.  If you like Between the Buried and Me, give this (Affinity) and 'The Mountain' a listen.

EDIT: Dam Aks has already mentioned Haken as well! Good work, all.

Here are two glorious tunes for your delectation. The first almost has it all. Classic thrash, plinky-plonky piano, blastbeats, beautiful guitar harmonies...it's just missing some mad Hammond organ and saxophone. The second has a traditional Japanese tune to die for towards the end.

Also, I would dearly like there to be a new Vhol album before too long.

New Kvelertak is much better than expected. Nowhere near as good as the debut of course, but nowhere near as dull as Meir. Sounds much more influenced by Swedish rock n roll and the opening track has a riff nicked from Spinal Tap which is always good.

7.666/10

Fuck. I was going to come in here and talk about the new In Mourning album streaming in full on YouTube, but the DOOM soundtrack is making this sound incredibly weak in comparison. Nine strings? NINE! Fuck it.

Nick Menza died on stage :(

Rust In Peace was, is and always will be the best thrash album ever made.

Just popped in here to see if anyone had mentioned this - still the greatest Megadeth lineup imo. Rust In Peace has so many great tracks, RIP Nick "What A Bladder" Menza *

*Only makes sense if you've seen the Making Of... for the Hanger 18 video.

I got a temp in recently and he was in a band and they did a video. He's the drummer.

I think they're pretty good but they are no more. He was amazed that I'm a Madball and New York Hardcore fan.

Here he is.

Have me some of that.

Damn that is one fine line-up! Wonder if Volumes are ever going to be good again now that Michael's gone though.

What are we thinking of that new Architects album though sir Bleeders? @Bojangle? Loving "Downfall" and "Phantom Fear" myself.
