I hope they're well into creating titles that will take advantage of that extra processing power. I know Xenoblades coming but it's a niche title, imo. Just imagine if they could drop the news of a brand new metroid prime in lovely 3dness, along with a screenshot of 2. I'm imagining it and it would be good!

It's not gonna happen is it. :(

You definitely shouldn't be excited. You should approach it grudgingly, expecting it to be as generic and mediocre as its title suggests, and you should roll your eyes when, after only ten hours of playing it, your suspicions are confirmed. You should use the words 'slow', 'clunky' and 'archaic' when making your first, disappointed post in the Monster Hunter thread, and you should complain about how the ostensible overworld is in fact nothing more than a series of small outdoor 'rooms' linked by distracting loading screens. You should bemoan the fact that you can't cancel an attack you've started and that by the time your swing lands the monster has moved out of the way. You should then play for a further ten hours and realise that - oh, now I get it - it's one of the best game series ever created.

Tumblr support is back on the N3DS browser. The browser is pretty nippy actually.

Other nice things - OS is snappy, ZL and ZR on the home screen quickly scroll left and right, and SSB demo loads almost instantly :)

And totally forgot it supported Amiibo. Not that there are any games yet...

Really nice bit of hardware, I like the screen size the SNES coloured buttons are amazing, and I love having 4 shoulder buttons and 2 analogs, I prefer the C stick position on the XL though as its below the abxy buttons.

Er, what?

Those of you with the ambassador edition, can you confirm if the C-stick/nub is any good for controlling the camera in, say, MH3U? It just occurred to me that the New 3DS XL isn't gonna have a Circle Pad Pro yet and I can't imagine playing MH without a second stick (that new targeting mechanic in 3U was horrible). Fuck. :(

Can anyone estimate how much the new XL will cost? I gotta do my sums and work out how much it's all gonna cost.

I've just thought. This thing can handle Xenoblade Chronicles, right. That means ports of Mario Galaxy and Twilight Princess MUST be on the cards. Metroid Prime Trilogy anyone?

So anyway, what happened is that you guys convinced me to try Rusty's Real Deal Baseball and now I'm spending my money on baseball themed mini-games while simultaneously feeling terrible because I'm ripping off a virtual dog who could really do with the money to support his family.

THANKS A LOT.
