Managed to bag a 2DS at a boot sale for £9 with Mario Kart, currently waiting for Nintendo to delink my old 3DS. I really like the format over my older XL.

I've also just ordered one for the misses with Pokemon X and mario kart for £84 using a combination of vouchers and Tesco points. Shes going to a friends funeral today and work is very stressful at the moment so might help cheer her up.

People might object to her playing a 3ds at the funeral ;)

The misses 2DS arrived yesterday, the speaker makes a buzz when no audio is passed through, is that normal?

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say "no".

Enjoying the first Edgeworth game. It's a nice change.

Yeah I quite enjoyed it too but I absolutely understand why some people might not.

Same goes for Layton vs Wright actually which I think it's fair to say is more of a Layton game with Wright added than the other way round.

I feel dirty.

After getting 300 free badges in Nintendo Badge Arcade, I actually paid real money to play today. Some Animal Crossing menu badges I had to have.

Impurin.

I've spent at least £30 on the Arcade if not more by now. 1500ish badges. At least 10 or so themes. (I definitely recommend the New Year Mario one, it's one of the best visually)

The 'badge arcade' badges took about a tenner the other week, since I wanted the rabbit ones to remain at 100% collected

As do I, although will wait to see if there are any kinds of special editions, my 2/3DS console collection is getting silly now, Link Between worlds 3DS Xl, Majoras Mask N3DS XL, Ambassador Edition N3DS, Dragon Ball Z N3DS and a light Blue Pokemon Moon 2DS :)

I'm the same. I've the original model Ocarina of Time 3DS, Link Between Words 3DS XL, Ambassador n3DS, Majora's Mask n3DS XL and the Fire Emblem Fates n3DS XL. I only use the Fire Emblem model currently and the Ambassador n3DS when I need to trade Pokemon to evolve them. I also bought a load of cover plates that sit unopened for a machine I don't use which is even worse and in that time sold my blue launch model 3DS XL, Animal Crossing 3DS XL and Fire Emblem Awakening 3DS XL.

I still want to find a nice condition, fully boxed Ocarina version, and "maybe" the Hyrule Warriros one, although that isn't really very different to Majoras tbh.

Loving your collection work though, although I really wish people would stop mentioning Fire Emblem systems, otherwise I may have to start on those also :P

I'm not really collecting them I just keep buying the machines I like and because they are usually LE they are a pain to get rid of because you have to keep your old system to do the system transfer and LEs  aren't listed on GAME's trade in system and I've had too many bad experiences with eBay to sell them there.  I've got a pre-order for the 2DS XL just because it looks more solidly made than the n3DS XL which has always felt a little flimsy and the cracking sound the bottom cover makes when you upgrade the SD card fills me with terror.

Yep. Xseed won the localisation over Natsume a few years ago but the latter kept the trademark name - and have since made some terrible clones under the HM title.  Story Of Seasons is the series' new name - and they come competently written at last, too.

Yes! My fire emblem 3ds turned up today.

It's missing the box insert, but the seller included a physical version of the game which I'm more than happy about. I only found out today that the awakening console in the us is actually a standard 3ds with a different front pic, so I may end up buying a third if I ever get some spare cash...

Do you know how Skytree Village fares? I got a pre order email from Nintendo with goodies (soundtrack, cute looking art book) and I jumped but I'm worried it'll be a bit pants!
