* PS4 sold over a million in 24 hrs in US. Add on Todays sales to that will be massively higher. Xbox One sold 1 million in 24 hrs across US and europe

The PS4 does seem to shit itself if PSN is down. I was playing some BF4 campaign (which surprisingly, I was enjoying quite a lot) and tried to log into PSN. I got a message to say it couldn't connect and now I'm looking at a blue screen. Can't do anything, none of the buttons on the pad work

Where are the consoles people receiving manufactured? superior Nippon TLC, or cheap Sino sweatshop crap? might explain it (Sony are probably employing imported Chinese labour for the MIJ ones anyway )

Firstly, sorry to all those mukkers still waiting for delivery, and commiserations to everyone struggling with psn.

On the plus side (for me) the last five hours have been a blast. My gamer pack and my new sony 42w653 arrived seconds apart. Quite a bit of set-up later and both are utterly lovely. PS4 updated from stick, resogun dled, tv watching apps dled. Couple of immense hours on Killzone (how good is that outdoor shadow level?). By christ it's pretty. And then some equally quality time on resogun - FFFFFUUUUUUUUU.

Next up is trying out vita linky thingy.

You can play any disc games you have, but I don't know how that works with save games and trophies once you login.

It's shit that PSN is down, Sony should've had it nailed down tight today.

I've managed to play a couple of hours of killzone campaign. I was hoping to get on some bf4 multiplayer or resogun but no can do unfortunately.

There was gonna be no one in to receive mine, so I clicked deliver to neighbour, who turns out was in...

.... but he isn't now. And he is new, I've never met him. I can see the box through his letter box if I poke it open though. As I think he isn't living there just renovating right now, I don't know if he will be back tonight!
