Salt in wound you need your ps4 logged in at least once it looks like to actually use this function. Been trying on and off since 14.30 and the closet I got was it finally recognising my psn account and confirming my name. Then it stopped. Fuuucccccckkkkk,

News just in :

We are aware that users are experiencing some disruption to the PSN service. To minimise the inconvenience we have suspended the redeem voucher functionality whilst we investigate further. Unfortunately this means that money cards, product vouchers, PlayStation Plus vouchers, PS3-PS4 upgrade vouchers and any other vouchers for digital content are not redeemable at this stage. Other PSN features such as log-in, online multi-player gaming, PlayStation Plus trial, PS Store (excluding voucher redemption), trophies, messages, friends etc. are all available.

We apologies and will provide an update to this announcement soon.

Well that's great, when I can log in I won't be able to download my digital download games :(

Just got in from work and my PS4 has turned up. Just got it set up now but PSN seems to be dead.

Thats not the worst of it though - the worst of it is that ShopTo have fucked up my pre-order and forgot to put my copy of Battlefield 4 in the fucking box! Meaning that I'm going to have to buy it digitally tonight if PSN ever recovers. Not impressed at that.

In other news though, HOORAY PS4!

Does the disc always spin? I haven't been on the main menu long enough to see if it eventually stops spinning but it seems to be doing it for quite a while now. I thought if it's installed to the HDD it'd just do like the 360 does and check the disc once the game has started but eventually stop spinning. Can't sign in to PSN either and I'm a little tired of re-entering all my info over and over, probably best to leave it until much later or early tomorrow but I wanna play Resogun :(

I've been lucky getting on. Been fine for me and a mate. Been in party chat jumping from game to game no problem. But another mate can't get on at all.

Hopefully it'll be sorted soon.

Bloody love the console and I've barely gotten into it yet.

Also how can I sign into ps3?

I had the maintenance messages for a while. Just this second got in but I've been trying on and off since around 2.30pm. It won't be a fault with your console. You'll just have to keep plugging away unfortunately. It's shit but you'll get there eventually.

It's been fucking crap so far, if it was Xbox Live they'd be all manner of a shit-storm. Still not been able to sign in.

If it was Xbone live, we'd have a huge controversy.

I'm in an Amazon chat with a very helpful chap named Steve at this very moment. He's requesting a redelivery for this afternoon, with a back-up of tomorrow if not. At least he seems to be taking it seriously - taking the order numbers of previous times when I've had the issue, escalating the complaint etc. Hope everyone else is enjoying their PS4 day, anyway!

... and at the last minute, in a most unexpected manner, Amazon Logistics have come through! I had to go down and basically wave the driver down, but woohoo! It's here!

I don't have a pet, so here it is with a superhero monkey. And, er, some port I was drinking to ease the pain.

I have been lucky. Got my machine at 11.30 all signed in and games downloaded by 1pm!

Still able to use store etc. only issue is music unlimited not working.

Awesome machine and there was bound to be issues to day with the network

Hope all those having problems they are sorted soon for you.
