Yeah, after a bit of faffing around...

Tesco had none. Asda had none. Morrissons had none. Sainsburys had none.... on the shelf. But one final copy in the storeroom. :)

I'll be on when I can over the weekend. Have to start start re collecting all my gear I suppose...

I know this is probably not the right place to bring this up but there are some great PSN sales on PS3 and Vita this weekend. I've just grabbed Dokuro and Terraria on PS3 for £3.59 each which is brilliant. Seems Sony want to keep a bit of attention on their other platforms as well.

Anyway, as you were and now back to the PS4 stuff.

Got remote play to work, it was flawless in bed!

I started having trouble with it last night, breaking up and freezing and that, then I realised I'd set it to use an ad-hoc wifi connection with the PS4 (like the Wii U), so in my bedroom I was only getting one bar of signal. Switched that off and it reverted to my home wifi and plays like a dream :wub:

I popped into Tesco Extra this morning and was able to pick up a PS4 off the shelf without a pre-order. :)

Tesco Extra in Sheffield if anyone's interested. They had a delivery last night. No idea how many, and It was only the Knack version, no Killzone packs, but you can't have everything, eh?

Picked one up this morning too when I only popped in for nappies. killzone pack btw.

Resogun is amazing but I am proper shit at it, there's got to be some mechanics I'm missing, as I keep losing humans even when there hasn't been a wave of keepers.

Looks and sounds ridiculously good, it kind of reminds me of that advert where everything the guy touches turns to skittles. Except voxels.

Just remember you guarding both sides of the circle, if keepers appear and you can't see them you need to get to the other side fast. And look out for the green 'trails' the leave, you can see the from across the level. The game is as much about risk management and shepherding as shooting the fuck out of stuff.

Sorry if that's a bit patronising and you know all that, but I was missing keeper waves (and of course still do! Haven't even cracked the first level yet) until I realised what was happening.

And don't forget, you can throw a human into the 'basket' rather than passing through the drop point, if you need to get back fast.

Wow wow wow what a console.

Next gen multi tasking ui is awesome.

I haven't played a Fifa in ages and this one is really superb.....looks and plays great.

Bf4 looks great, sounds great, plays great.....a little buggy but will settle over time.

Killzone looks OK.....plays a decent game, will complete.

Resogun, amazing, everything I hoped it would be.

NFS needs the online to work. When it does its superb.

If you haven't played flower before it is a must. Next gen experience on last gen IMO...and looks lovely now.

9/10 would buy another.

Anyone got any Sennheiser headphones with an inline mic to try on their machine? I'd like to get a PX100i set so I can route everything through the pad at night and still do voice chat.

I own those headphones, so if you lend me your PS4 I'll test it.

When one of things picks up a human you have to rescue them and take them to the rescue ship?

Yeah, but when you boost try and get them in a line and boost through them all one-by-one, every one you hit recharges your boost a little. I expect some enemy waves will be set so you can boost all round the level like NiGHTs' link runs. I'm a long way from doing anything that cool though!

Re: Audio.

How have people got their Audio Output settings. You can set the following...

Default output: HDMI / Optical. Selecting one means the other still works so not sure what difference it makes.

Output: PCM Linear / Bitstream Dolby / Bitstream DTS

I have usual Stereo Audio running out of my TV and into my Hi-Fi which seems to work fine whatever.

However I have a set of PX5 DD Headphones and I can't work out the right setting for them. Is there anything I need to know about any of the above? The DD light on the headphones keeps going off and in a few games its been a bit fucked.

So, Battlefield is downloading an update. Is there any way to see the progress?

Resogun and Contact both have little progess bars on the dash, but I cant see anything for Battlefield. Battlefield.

Notifications and then downloads iirc

Also for anyone with user1 still on your machine, settings, initialisation, delete user iirc

managed to get a ps4 yesterday morning form argos with no bother.

was in store on thursday and they told me to reserve it online after midnight then simply collect yeseterday. their website didnt update until 6.30am yesterday so it wasnt a great nights sleep with constantly checking the site during the night but i managed to reserve one.

went to the store and there was about ten people in front, some saying how they werent able to reserve one (i said nothing), shop opened and they all ran in while i just sauntered in. by the time i got in they were already arguing with the manager about apparently not being able to reserve one and no stocl being available except to reservations so i slipped up to the counter, showed my reference, paid, got my ps4 and was out of the shop within 5 minutes.

was out last night for xmas do so its finally now unpacked, plugged in and updating.

EXCITE!!!
