Picked up my PS4 Killzone pack from Grainger Games; they were offering EA games for £40 if bought at the time, so picked up Battlefield 4 ^_^

Unfortunately my PSN id was one of those "selected" for a reset and currently cannot sign in under my current id, I've spoken to Sony network support and they're looking into it. I wish I'd logged in a few days ago (on my PS3) to check all was ok....

Reading through this thread currently have a few reservations about NFS Rivals, which I have preordered from Amazon (still waiting delivery)

I've played Shadow Fall and it does look absolutely gorgeous, the installation was very quick

Weird,says I already own PS+,maybe the code did go through?!

Confused!!!

EDIT: Wont let me download Resogun as says I am not a ps plus member!

Got to be something to do with the full US PSN code thing.

Guys, I'm going to be moving over to a PS4 from a 360 and just wanted to clear some stuff up.

How is the UI compared to the 360 which I quite liked?

Can you record your game play on the PS4?

Is joining a multiplayer game or party as seamless as it was on the 360?

Top tip for Playroom: there is some free DLC on the Store. Toy Maker I think it's called. If you use the Playstation app on iOS (other platforms may be available) it lets you draw and make toys on your phone and then flick them onto the telly for the AR robots to play with.

No. Your starting super hero mentor determines which city you start in. Superman and Wonder Womand for Metropolis and Batman for Gotham. All three have different mission chains to start with. Also it's a themepark MMO so the first mission for everyone is basically kill 10 rats :) (Or Gorillas in the case of Superman). What's hard about it? :)

It looks like it wants me to leave the fucking client running to get the download though which is a bit shit.

Ah that explains it then.

I dunno these gorillas are tough! It wss pretty late. Maybe I was just tired.

Man, the pack in headset is pretty terrible, isn't it?

Worse still, it seems like the £5 adaptor to make existing Turtle Beach headsets compatible with the PS4 isn't being shipped to the UK either, which is a shame.

What's everyone doing, headset-wise?

@hean dog - did you buy games on a US account? Can you play the online fine via your uk account?

Bought games on US account.

Cant play online,PS says I am not a member, but also won't let me sign up fort a free trial as it says I am a member. Also looks like my code is not working, says it been redeemed.

Got both my accounts on the PS4, just switched my UK to the main one and made no difference.

My machine is now processing! Not bad seeing I preordered it 4 hours before launch.

On another note, does anyone know if you can now chat to people while they are in different games? I really loved that about the 360.

There is party chat, I believe. Can anyone else confirm?

I've done the same, the Ui is nice- no adverts all over the place and it performs multi tasking well. To early to call but it has the potential to be much better than the 360 one, it already feels as good.

I think the recording happens all of the time ( 15 mins of it) you then opt to share it by using the share button... I've not tried it yet though as my gaming exploits are not worthy of server space :)

Party stuff seems ok, joining a friends game seems to have a few more steps than the 360, it does give you a heads up on players in the game though on the join screen which is cool.

Well, im late to the party but better late than never.

I'm glad to say everything yesterday went peachy. (beside one thing which i'll get to)

Went out on the town yesterday morning and met up with my friend and headed to Game.

The queue was out the door so i was glad that i hadn't pre-ordered with them.

After going in for a quick look i was surprised to find all the PS4 games for £42.99 & £44.99, they even had Injustice for £23.50 (which i'm now heading of to buy)

After that we headed to Sainsburys to pick up my friends PS4, he works there and gets staff discount, they also had £10 discount per game if bought with the console.

With his discount and the £10 deal he walked away 2 games and the system for just shy of £370, bargain!

I was well pleased for him as he wasn't sure he would even get a system until this week.

Mean while, amazon come through for me big time, my games had arrived via special delivery at 10am and the killzone gamers pack at 12.00 via city link.

Went home, set the systems up, logged in, got the 1.51 update and then the psn network disappear's.

No big deal, expected it really.

Anyway,installed ours games and played for the next 2 hrs before heading out to eat.

My friend brought his system with him and we went back to one of my other friends houses where we played until 2 this morning on his 10 foot projection screen.

It was a really good day.

No wind turbine fans, no dodgy hdmi ports, no blinking lights of death.

I really like the system and i'm even impressed by the graphics in Cod Ghosts, i think they're a big leap over what i've been used to on the 360/ps3

Now the only downside, Sony cancelling the use of redemption codes.

I can't setup my plus account, ergo no Resogun and no online multiplayer.

Thats really not exceptable especially when you can still subscribe to plus in the playstation store.

If they get that sorted today then fair enough but any longer than that and Sony should be compensating people who have had to wait.
