Quick headset question.

I am looking for the official Sony headset the 'Gold' one.

Is that the same as the 2.0? As I am looking on eBay and it isn't clear, nor is my 'research' when searching around.

if they aren't the same, is there any major differences between the two?

Eg:

This - Gold

This - 2.0

Yes they are both the same. IIRC it was called 'Gold' in the US release, there is no difference except for the packaging.

I bought mine from that ebay seller (gameseek) and it came 2 days later. Well recommended.

Excellent headset, comfortable and great sound quality. I downloaded the TLOU setting via the headset app and it sounds incredible.

Aye, ordered it in the end, as I noticed in the description it mentioned 2.0... I am an idiot.

Is it only Sony games that have profiles for it in the app? Or does it cover stuff like Battlefield too?

It has distinct profiles for Infamous, Watch Dogs and TLOU. Also has a generic Shooter and Fighting (lol?) profiles and custom ones. Think there is some music and movie profiles too.

You can download the app on the PS4 before you get the headphones by the way.

Playing The Last of Us with interruptions to watch things on Netflix has made really appreciate the suspend and resume feature; it's barely two seconds to transition from Netflix back to the game and still under five to go back the other way. Excellent.

However I think an fov increase would help, or my personal choice would be the ability to "move my head" when I am down in shot position , using right stick maybe... That would be realistic as when playing pool/snooker I often do move my head to see round table before I take shot without affecting my aim.

If you swipe the touch pad left or right, the camera angle swings as if you were moving your head, without adjusting your aim.

Also, I'd be up for a rllmuk pool league.

'If'... it's not if, they shouldn't be stacked! Just stand it vertically next to the 360 doing the same then? That has to be better surely.

Kids running around mate, they knock stuff. I posted in ATF about stacking months ago, no one objected.

I keep forgetting the touchpad exists (aside from being the largest Select button ever), cheers!

Gave this a couple of hrs at weekend and loving the gameplay and physics... Those long pots are tricky as the guidelines peter out , also the fine cut shots see the guidelines widen etc really good simulation, best I have played!

However the AI is disappointing , it avoids the major pitfalls but you can still see them "deliberately" miss etc

Will give those "virtual" players a go based on real data from players (like drivatar I assume)

I see share factory had an update also with a few more themes so tried it out...

Not sure if i tried recording since the last update, i thought i had but maybe it has been fixed - if so best console ever ;)

I'm getting such a 1990s TV vibe from that Share Factory theme, love it! I really hope this is the proper video fix, funnily enough TLOU: Remastered had always shown the video save thing when I've gone in to check so maybe all these spot patches have finally done it.
