DRIVECLUB - being put to sleep by Sony in March 2020

I appreciate server upgrades and all that, but 4 months later than promised and I'm still none the wiser.

It clearly means it'll be in the next PS+.

Which, unless they give it as a very clear addition to what they normally give, will not get a positive reaction now. Bless 'em.

» Reduces the drying time for rain splatter on the screen when in Chase Cam.

Is there any chance of this for the bonnet cam too please?

» Adds the option to enable the Rev Counter in cockpit view.

Someone on this forum wanted this didn't they?

I think we've long since established that Rushy isn't allowed to speak about stuff that's not formally announced. And Sony are the publisher, so really you ought to be hassling them.

Nice to see this game getting more proper love from Evo :) Good job guys!

Still hoping for the arrival of private online lobbies soon. Do you have any info on that, Rushy?

Mentioned in the text above, been worked on along side server upgrades.

That with the replays are what I'm waiting for before I jump back in with the DLC.

Completely missed that mentioning, cheers!

And yes, I'm kind of saving up the DLC as well until the arrival of those features as well.

Disappointing that PRIVATE LOBBIES dont come in February!!! U had more than 1 month to do it (or 5 months since release).

Also ,maybe those online events should change every 2 days and not after 3-4-5 days. This way we could use almost all the cars in the game in a week or two.

Is it me or are the races in this maddeningly hard? I can do alright on time trials and even drift events but I have hit a wall with the races on the tour. Case in point I am doing the Germany vs Britain race in the photo finish tour as j gave up trying to progress in the main tour. First event is Norway at night, icy condotions, narrow road and if you some much as touch the sides the AI disappears into the distance (after each one has clipped you from behind causing impact penalties)

This game is beautiful and I really want to like (which generally I do in time trial) it but I am struggling to find the fun in races which is ultimately costing me stars which stops me from progressing and unlocking the better motors

It just feels too strict, you want to feel part of the race, in the pack with a shot at the top three even of that means some "elastic" AI, not dropping to last the minute you cock up.

My view is that single player racers are generally an exercise in learning the tracks and unlocking cars which should be pretty straight forward. In this that only seems to be the case in the first third of the tour after that it becomes too punishing.

Ironically time trial is where you push that knowledge of car and machine but you can't enjoy that fully because half the stuff is locked away!

I seem to be finding the opposite to many here. I tend to find the races far easier than the time trials. There's only been a small out of races that have taken me several attempts to win and with each of them I tend to find it was my own impatience trying overtakes that weren't there that kept costing me.
