If I've got the PSPlus version of DriveClub what do I need to buy to make it the full version?

"The game" essentially.

Or if you mean truly the full version, the season pass, the bike expansion and (as I recall) a couple of disparate minor DLC.

@Rushy might remember exactly.

The game is only £12.99 in the sale anyway. The season pass, bikes and VR are on sale too.

Never did get bikes but might as well try it for £3.29.

Yep and for anyone who hasn't played this grab it! :) Worth every penny... season pass is worth it too adds a ton of extra content.

Does the club thing still all work? We could form a farewell club and then have some fun with it over the next year... I'm pretty crap at it to be fair.. but some competition incentive to get better!

I know someone started some TT in Driveclub up again last year but didn't have time to join in then... Happy to give some TT another go.... Do you need a PS+ sub to take part? (guessing so)

So as long as i own it, i can still download it, right?

If you purchased the season pass you need to have then 'bought' all of the individual DLC items it includes. Apparently on PSN season passes are just a token that after purchase allows you to buy the associated content items for free. So if you haven't done that in the past, the individual items won't be in your purchase history and you won't be able to download them. The season pass in your purchase history apparently does nothing.

Ah good whilst it lasted! Fair play to Sony for keeping them running for so long!

Really? I can still play Forza Horizon online on the Xbox. That's 2 years older than Driveclub. Sony should be hauled over the coals for the shutdown of their servers.

I'm not trying to single Microsoft out here, Sony have a habit of shutting down their poorer performing games. See Gravity Rush 2, for example.

It seems to be more acceptable recently for games to have a shorter shelf life than what we've had before. I don't get why that is.

Not sure how much it costs I guess if no one is hardly uses the servers then they get mothballed. Waste of money having them on for nothing.

Not sure how Sony's infrastructure works in terms of servers. Guessing MSs are based around Azure and VMs maybe more cost efficient for MS to keep them on?

FH was rerealesed on gold a while back on the Xbox One and BC and a large element of that was online so guessing they had to ensure it was all functional?

Does anyone here still play DC?

Anyhow it's a 7 year old game this year.... Not saying it's correct for Sony to shut down their servers but I understand why.

Who would want to play an old racing game?

I think you can still play DC after the servers are shut down? Just the online bits - although DC was developed as an online experience I guess.

I mean I played Project Gotham Racing 4 today and still has fun even though I don't think the online stuff works anymore.... Suppose that is 13 years old though... Oh.... Now I feel old :(
