bit confused. i had a really nice slow down time and aim power with neon - that allowed me to get loads of head shots.

now it seems to have vanished. is that because my karma meter has dipped down/reversed?

its not totally clear why - and i want that ability back.

Are you actually neon, or using the third power?

Oh and, yeah, if your karma has swung the other way, then perhaps it's unlocked the Red skills and locked you out of the blue ones? The time slowdown is only available to good guys.

I'm still neon. but i think head shots are bad... so i have become less powerful (which sucks) for getting them. i don't seem to have the equivalent bad power. just less powers.

such an enjoyable game - but taking stuff away from me for scoring head shots - has soured it a little.

I used to love standing on a car and then lifting it off the ground so it'd hover mid air we me still standing on it. The only way they could have made that better would have been to allow you to move the car and surf around on it.

Still, surprised there's no force push/throw moves. Perhaps the old powers will come back as DLC.

They're hopefully saving that for a Mistborn game.

You have the power of running away!

Seriously. Run away. Find cover. Zoom up vents and take a rest on the rooftops before unleashing smokey/neon/other powers hell on them.

Which is what I've been doing. TBH, its a bit shit. I think its the best Sucker Punch game yet, but with a bit more polish it could have been GOTY contender

With neon, if you want to stay Good as opposed to Evil, you're supposed to be scoring ankle shots in slow-mo. Or the stasis field.

I ended up with like 50 shards to spend when I grabbed Fetch's power. I pretty much insta-upgraded everything. If I get in a scrap with neon, I use dash to recharge my slow-mo, do an ankle subdue or two, then dash again. The odd stasis field to group subdue.

Just got the third power and although it's fun I have gone back to Neon. Once I got used to slowing down time and then ankle shooting the enemy it became far too much fun.

As for Paper Trail I only started it this afternoon but really like how it works. Going to be keeping on playing that one. I am having problems accessing the tests in the profile page as Chrome seems to think it's a dodgy site. It's not part of the game is it?

I am enjoying this, but i think I preferred the first two games. I felt a bit too super too early on this. Scaling a building is a breeze rather than a fun challenge (even with the first power) and once you have the running ability most of your traveling needs are met. I really enjoyed chaining together power cables and train lines in the first two when getting from A to B, it felt like the right balance of fun and effort. And while the first two games never quite met the standard Crackdown set for the sense of achievement when reaching the top of a tall building, it was a lot more fun that just running up the side.

The combat is enjoyable in this but similarly it feels very stipped down compared to the first two. I do miss things like the force push, levitation, rebounding rockets, the polarity shield and tagging enemies as targets for missiles.

this game sure is pretty.

i wonder if its an age thing - that a single player game like this appeals far more to me than the likes of titanfall multiplayer or even battlefield.

if anyone was waiting to upgrade seeing this projected on 100 inch screen in 1080p is a pretty good reason. looks soooo beautiful.

Same here. I've played Battlefield briefly, and seen Killzone and CoD, but I wouldn't want to spend any time with any of them.

Infamous has been keeping me up past my bedtime all week.

To anyone who hasn't played it yet and actually cares about the stories in their games - Don't bother playing as the bad guy in this. I just finished a second playthrough as an evil Delsin. The narrative doesn't hold up, the evil powers aren't as fun (imo) and the special powers look more cartoony thanks to them just looking more 'red' instead of natural fire or neon, only the third power actually makes half-decent use of Delsin being evil.

The evil playthrough does have its moments, but everything felt 'right' on my heroic playthrough. Also, Evil Delsin is the biggest wanker in videogame history. Such a twat. I really didn't like playing as him for this run. It really didn't sit well with me at all.

Love the game though, so much fun. Can't wait for the next installment of Paper Trail. :)

Pretty much agree with this, 2 thirds through my expert evil playthrough and I much preferred being a good guy, although I am still having fun

In the papertrail...:

how do you find the code for the hijacked drone??

I think you're supposed to do it via a process of elimination, although as you have limited attempts before the code is randomised there's certainly an element of luck; something which wasn't in my favour when I ostensibly got it right but it wasn't accepted.

Alternatively...

...before attempting to put in any numbers right-click, view the page's source and search for "currpd". That'll show you the current code.

Funnily enough everytime I can pay as an evil person I always end up doing the right thing anyway. I would literally be the worst evil guy in the world.

I wonder if there is a game shop on the way back from Manchester airport. I am sat waiting for my flight back to Rome and could do with something to look forward to (apart from going back to lovely work of course!)

I went into the game with the full intention of being evil for once.

From the very first moment I had a good v evil decision, I broke and went good.

I suck.
