How is the RE4 port? I was hoping it would be a little cheaper, but it's still tempting to buy another copy on yet another console.

It’s slightly lazy in places. The game itself is as good as ever once you get used to the controls on the 360 pad. But little details like the graphics on the menus not being tarted up let it down slightly. It’s a bit bright in some sections (like the forest at the start), the lack of fog removes a lot of the tension.

Anyone played Tomb Raider Legend? Worth a go for under 3 quid? I haven’t played a TR game this gen.

TR Legend hasn't aged well. It's ok, but post Uncharted, Arkham, Assassin's Creed it feels positively last gen, which it basically is.

Graphically and framerate wise I'd agree. I really dont get why the engine stutters when the game just isnt that pretty...

gameplay wise it holds up ok for me except for the combat which is always a bit hit and miss

worth 2.69 of my money anyway and Ive already completed it once.

I suppose that if they don't have back compatibility on 720, the sensible thing to do would be to release a DVDless "360 super slim" that was small enough to keep around for playing your old XBL purchases.

I actually touted this as an idea ages ago that I was laughed off over iirc, I genuinely think that either the rumoured portable 360 or even a 360 mini (or what the arcade sort of should have been) which plays all your XBLA / XBLIG and maybe GoD games (presumably more complicated) would be brilliant.

Tbh (although probably impossible in regards to coding or whatever) if a Windows 8 phone enabled me to play my XBLA arcade games on it, I would buy one without hesitation.

Well yes, that is obviously one of the reasons it wouldn't work very well but there are some games that you could shoehorn some virtual controls onto. It would obviously be disgustingly bad for some things but I've played emulated SNES games using SNESoid on my phone using virtual controls and it was alright.

I think really what I'd quite like, is actually the ability to play my Pinball FX tables against my scores and leaderboards on my tablet / phone instead of buying everything again and starting my scores from scratch.

More of an issue with accounts more than anything... don't mind me.

I tried pinball fx 2 on windows 8 store using my same XBLA credentials and it wanted me to purchase all the table again. Yeah, good luck with that.

I no longer run Windows 8, so it's not really an issue any more. Maybe cross platform play could have persuaded me to keep it on.

I sign into the website but it shows the prices in dollars :s

I get that too. In the URL change en-US to en-GB.

Yeah, I get that. I was wondering if Unblock-US is confusing it or something, because I had that in the Google Play store a couple of weeks ago when I was thinking of buying a Nexus.

Anyway I'm only getting the problem in Chrome, Firefox is fine.
