They have learned - that it doesn't affect sales that much. It's not financially sensible to have enough servers to cope with the first wave when it dies down after a few days.

They have plenty of servers.

I'm getting that choose a different payment option - have they locked out UK fuckers from the US marketplace with paypal option???

To be honest, the PC version has been pretty much trouble free for me. Just got booted off of Origin so there we go.

And I was so close to finishing the campaign too - which is aggravating because the campaign is astoundingly shit (especially in comparison to how good the game is otherwise), complete with shit voiceovers that sound like they got one of the programmers dads in to sound a bit gruff. Worst right at the start of the IMC campaign. That's your 35 gigs of audio right there.

Arrrgghh. Gone from being top 3 to bottom 3 over the space of 2 hours. Like CoD I appear to have to shoot people loads to kill them whereas they kill me in about two hits.

Loads more fun than CoD mind! Seem to be getting a lot of Titan Kills as a pilot which is awesome.

Anyone else totally crap at this? I have no idea who to shoot! It seems that everyone is the same colour and you have to hover over players to find out what side they are on. What am I missing?

Always keep an eye on your mini map, enemies will show as a bold red dot when they fire at grunts and enemies (without suppressor) and the grunts will appear as small red dots, (Team mates a friendly colour, green or blue.. Can't remember mow) as for telling people apart I think team mates writing will always appear or maybe takes a split second and enemies will appear as red or if they show no name/gamer tag shoot on sight to be safe.. (Will make you a big red dot without surpressor I believe not 100 percent but makes sense)

Telling people apart from grunts and spectres can be tricky but I tend to hunt for the red dots on the map, likely the enemy moving erraticly is the human player and whilst aiming will show red above them - though I wouldn't recommend waiting for the red names to appear before opening fire, maybe try to clock it whilst shooting the bots if enemy is in a group of them or shooting erraticly moving ones first.

Not an expert but maybe helpful to newer players.

Now I want to play it but can't sign in :(

Makes sense I think. So is a big red dot a human firing without a suppressor?

It's a lot more manic than I expected, but it's great fun.

Yeah, you will show as a red dot when firing at grunts and stuff and I think at human enemies too, I think suppressor helps though so it can't be relied on to know someone's definitely near

Just googled and the suppressor makes you invisible on mini map but reduces range and damage
