Hey! Someone should ask these guys what they thought of Halo 2.

They'll probably say "Halo 2 blows chunks all over other games! It's great to play together! XBOX ROX! And something about being an underappreciated teenager living in an overly anonymous society of consumerism!"

I wonder if they'd let me in if I made a surprise visit?

Well, I just called them, and they said they've already stopped sending the disc off to 'go gold' in order to paint a giant 'OMFG! It's teh flicky!' banner.

Tactics can still be employed in large-scale fights, do you really think they managed to pull off the normandy landings without them?

Besides which, you don't neccesarily have to all go in one big group, set up groups to attack certain areas, with each group having it's own set of tactics, so tactics within tactics, if you like.

Well sure it is in small-ish environments. But imagine if they're so huge that you're hardly ever squashed in or surrounded. Imagine having locations so vast that it's like being in a great big freaking warzone!

Well Bungie did say they had something special planned, for Xbox Live!

the massive maps will be wicked frag fests, i doubt tactics will come into play until you have 12 friends who form some sort of clan/battalion and take on another team in a capture the flag or slayer tournament. I think in general too many people will be doing their own gung ho thing and shouting a lot to take notice of tactics.

i wonder how the headset system will work, obv the other team need to be muted, but can you use a button to open a channel to shout with murderous glee at them?

4 on 4, or even slightly more might just be fantastico, especially if I get to kick Kerraig's team in the arse every night. Elite crack commandos. Shut the fuck up.

I can only imagine what this could and perhaps should become

Do you reckon you can do decals for the MC like for the bikes on Moto GP 2?

90% of my mates pick black. Probably cos they think it's cool and hard. I go for White. Looks like a Stormtrooper. :D

EDIT - took out the bits where I slagged off Kerraig :(

My mates girlfriend who works as a tea lady at Microsoft said a Master Chief helmet visor accessory will be available to create a virtual HUD in mid air.

Look they are testing them out in Japan right now.

This'll be their secret weapon to crack the market in the far east. That or they might just get sensible and gobble up Square-Enix.

Fools! I use the one which will blend in with the colours of the map best... doesn't really work, but, meh, any miniscule advantage helps...

24 players would be crap for people who are REALLY FUCKING GOOD at the game. I can't see people who were brought up on Goldeneye's Grenade Wall Bouncing to fair well in a mad, explosive, carnage filled playing field. Constructions or not, it would still be uncontrollable bedlam.

It would be a great testing point for the 'person who is better always kills first' in Assault Rifle one-on-ones.

Would it be a jungle of wires to connect 24 people up too?
