Does anyone know if the PS4 client is available for download yet? I read somewhere that it was but I couldn't find it in the PS store

It's available on the US store to download. 11gb file.

Presume UK will be there tomorrow.

Well yes it is, only the zones are very large, Outland is one zone, Pandaria one, Northrend one and so on.

I like that kind of zoning, makes the world feel large and coherent unlike for example a new MMORPG which launches shortly where there was a new instance behind every single door.

Can't you just create 2 accounts?

Anyway, you also can't log into the US beta with an EU Squeenix account. Boo. Am in the process of creating a 2nd one to piss about with for a bit. Can't seem to find the beta to download on the EU store anyway, anyone got any tips?

Not sure, because you also link your Square Enix account to your PSN account, you might have to have dual PSN-accounts then too.

So I joined Moogle. I don't really have a clue what I'm doing, and worst of all I can't seem to work out how to show how new clothes will look on my character before I buy them. There must be a button for that, surely. I just have to get rid of these boots before I venture out into the world.

Yes, I have two accounts...but it seems to be taking aaages to get a confirmation email for my new temporary US Square Enix account, like, 3 hours now. They must be getting hammered with new sign ups I imagine.

You can link your existing account now and download the client, and also see the beta servers, of which there are 4. Shall we pick PS4_Beta_3 to jump on, so there are some friendly faces?

What classes is everyone going to try? I'm I correct in understanding it as you can be any class with a single character? But are you limited to your initial choice until a certain level or how does it work?

Yep, you can change at any time once you hit level 10 on your starting class. Just speak to the quest person at the guild. Then change by equipping the weapon / tool that class uses.

Cat, no preview button for gear yet! That's part of the random fun. Pay attention to the tutorial boxes that pop up! They are generally very helpful.

I presume this beta is only available to play for existing PS3 players?

I downloaded it a couple of days ago but it's still showing as locked this morning.

If so then I might just go for the digital download of the PS3 version if that gets you a free upgrade to PS4 on release.

No available to all, just download the beta, create the account (if you don't have one) log in and play.
