Haha, I'd actually love to see that. Kinda sucks though as I have about 10 quid in points on Shopto that I would've used towards this.

Get a disk copy posted to someone in the UK and get them to give you the code details?

The normal edition fits through a letter box easy enough but if you wanted a CE it's mean a trip to a part office to get it

That's what I've had to do. I've entrusted my 69 year old father to emailing the code... this should be fun :)

There's 2 codes in the ps3 box. One for the game and the other seems to be like a club squeenix thing.

He'll want to send you the code that's on the bluey/black paper

I've started to quite enjoy this now, just taking my time doing the usual thing of mixing a quest every now and then with exploration and combat. I've settled into the PS3 controls nicely, which is lucky because my computer hates the PC version - it won't get through the starting cutscene without crashing, no matter how much I fiddle with settings.

ARE YOU ON MOOGLE?!!

Managed to get onto Moogle this morning, so should hopefully (server gods willing) be joining the fun tonight.

Can I join the linkshell from the outset? Or do I need to complete a certain quest?

Oh you will be will you? Let's just see about that! :blah:

Maybe it's just early days, but the game doesn't seem very difficult at the start compared to FF XI. I'm on level 12 and I haven't been touched yet. It seems like you can just spam the shit out of your abilities because they refresh so quickly.

EDIT: Looking at the maps above reminds me that I don't like how the fate battles constantly respawn in exactly the same place.

Think of the opening 20 levels as a tutorial. Your first class is especially easy right up into the 30's because of questing. When you reach dungeons around the mid 30's is where the game gets challenging, and also when shit gets real story wise.

Hello all :)

I Haven't played any kind of online rpg stuff since the original phantasy star online, but this is looking intriguing. However most of the fun in these games seems to be from teaming up with others, and my main gaming hours are kind of unorthodox, usually weekdays from around midday to 4pm. Are there many/ any 'mukkers likely to be about at this time?
