Anyone know how to recalibrate where it thinks your gun is when using PSVR and a dualshock (smooth movement), it currently thinks I have tiny T-rex arms and my gun is always slightly twisted to the left making aiming a ball ache.

On all other games, holding options recalibrates.

It's been online co-op since Next, hasn't it?

Yeah, sort of, not sure I would call it co-op though.  It's not like you could travel around together and I just kept losing my mate when he was trying to follow me through the galaxy.

Hopefully thats all been improved.

Me and my mates all put our bases on the same planet. Then we were able to shoot off and teleport back whenever we felt like it. We joined forces for a massive run of the highest end products you can farm and made about 1.8bn credits between us. Then all stopped playing. :D

I'm an accountant, so I took a quick look at Hello Games' latest accounts on Companies House and they were very interesting reading.

Hello Games made almost exactly £100 million in sales of No Man's Sky from launch up to 31/10/18 and on that date they had £60 million in reserves. A week before No Man's Sky first launch they only had £277,000 left in reserves, so the company's meteoric rise is pretty unprecedented in the industry. No wonder they're continuing to develop the game!

Did they give and sense of their run rate? Just wonder how long they can continue to update the game without the usual revenue streams. Although, I obviously hope loads of new people are buying or rebuying the game.

Got as far as the Anomaly’s first appearance on my new save...and the frame rate plummeted. Managed about 30 seconds in there before it bluescreened.

Hopefully its it’s something that can be fixed with a quick update...

I just bought it again for PC. :)

Gonna give the steam release a go. The PSVR version looks like you're playing underwater. Seriously low res and blurry.

Bugger.  About to give it a go on the pro but I am not expecting much. Ah well.  Still loads of great things in the update.

Don't feel too bad. At least the PSVR version actually works. I've installed on Steam and, while it looks a lot nicer, it runs like shit.

Something is not right.

Steam thread - Terrible performance in VR. A horrible, stuttery mess for me on Oculus Rift, especially when flying.

For me it's stuttery and wonky just on the title screen with all the stars. I'll wait for the inevitable patch or ... twenty. Back to Elite I go.

This runs really well for me on Oculus Rift. No issues at all apart from I can’t find a full control list in any menu.

I do like the way you grab the multitool from behind your back. First time I climbed into a cockpit was certainly one of those ‘holy shit’ VR moments. They’ve put a lot of thought into this and how it works in VR. It’s mostly all very intuitive. Graphically it seems absolutely  fine to me. Nothing overly murky or low res.

Fucks sake. I’ve been tinkering around on this for the last few days; really enjoying it. Got as far as owning a freighter and an Atlas pass.

Now I can’t scan a damn thing, can’t talk to anyone on The Anomoly, and worst of all, when I tried and crash my ship into the ground out of pure rage, it wouldn’t let me.

There's something wrong with the VR in this game. When the game starts and I'm flying through the star systems as the game is loading, every star is coming towards me straight, but over time it skews a little and when the game is fully loaded the game thinks the VR sensor is to the left of me so I need to rotate almost 90 degrees to the left , but then I'm not facing the TV nor the PS Camera anymore. I can't seem to find any way to re center my VR gear/controller in-game. Other VR titles works fine :(

I just finished playing for tonight and realised I'd just spent three solid hours with my headset on. Rift S on PC. It's a bit glitchy, a bit janky and it crashed when I went on the Nexus but that's the most amazing VR experience I've ever had. The scale of everything is just fucking huge. Even those little things that teach you words are bigger than you now. You can't get a feel for how well it works just watching a stream. You need to get inside and see for yourself. It's gone from a game on a monitor to you actually being in a properly scaled world.

Constant crashes and a real misstep with all this electrical wiring shit... I now have an unusable base and constantly massive resource demanding generators? Nah you're alright.

I'll wait for the stability fix and the revised power systems I think.

Quality wise on my Rift S it looks really, really fucking good. I left all the graphics options on default. It's a bit glitchy at times and there's some jank. I daren't go into the Nexus because it's crashing but I think VR just found its killer app. On PC certainly.
