I watched Michel Gondrey's Mood Indigo last night and there were lots of bits that felt like Vic and Bob with a bigger budget.

I loved the first series but the Christmas special and the first ep of series 2 left me cold (apart from the mugs falling out of the cupboard gag).

Yeah I'm with you. The mugs but was incredible and worth the 30 minute investment alone but other than the song at the end I found it all a bit laboured. I've realised that other than Vic and Bob I don't find anyone's character funny. Matt Berry has the best voice in showbiz but it's all he has, really.

Episode 2 of Season 2 was one of the best comedies I've seen in the past year.

I was in hysterics at Vic's woman for a hand and if anyone could make a .mp3 of Bob saying "Shit on biscuits" I would be eternally grateful. Seriously!

Bob's brown streak goes all the way back to 'bendy stick for shitty shotty'.

Haven't watched the new series yet, due mainly to memory problems. Didn't really enjoy the Christmas special, but I doubt I'll ever be able to deny Vic & Bob another second chance.

Half an hour of sheer lunacy, absolutely love House of Fools. The Istanbul technique and the tattoo had me crying. So good.

That was really good. The Xmas episode was throw away rubbish, episode 1 was OK - this was very, very good indeed. It's quite hit and miss but that was a bobby dazzler. Beef miniaturised, Vic's hand tattoo and the FLAT day out were great. They've not done any animated sequences though so far and they were really good in season 1 - hopefully they'll bring them back.

Watched this for the first time last week. Wasn't sure if I was liking it or not. This week's episode totally won me over - hand tattoo scene in particular.

So stupid it's hilarious. Will need to watch all the previous episodes I've missed.

I like the way that Bob's jokes falling flat is the exact opposite of Shooting Stars, when it was always Vic's dove jokes that got the tumbleweed.

The only thing I don’t like about this series is the new version of Bosh. He doesn’t seem to have any kind of defined role or character apart from falling off Julie’s bar and sometimes having a Pakistani accent, and isn’t involved in Vic & Bob’s madcap adventures any more. I guess it’s a result of Beef and Julie having more screen time this time round, and to be fair, Julie has had some of the funniest bits this time round, like her tiny hands and her face gradually seizing up as the botox took hold, but I still miss the old Bosh a bit.

Bob spilling his drink was the highlight of the last episode for me. Their next show should just be the two of them in a kitchen full of mugs.
