Saint Maud is up now, for those who waited for Prime. It was great, unlike anything I’ve seen before.

Sinister 2 was ass, after I loved the first film. That was 99p to watch.

Clarkson's Farm show is starting on the 11th, I'm quite keen to see the bumbling car fool try to grow things, will be on my list of things to watch while working tomorrow :)

All 8 episodes up now.  First one seems ok.

I'm always surprised at how much Carpenter managed to fit into a 90-minute run time. Every character feels fully formed - none of them are minor which makes the action scenes and deaths really impactful.

The build up is also incredibly tense and unnerving. And the film ends exactly when it needs to - no prolonged conclusion, and the loose ends are left untied, which makes everything feel more authentic.

Just watched it (even though I own the DVD). That scene with the kid is still on of the most stark and brutal things committed to celluloid by Carpenter.

While I love Assault, any tension in that scene, (for me), is dragged down by Kim Richards' attempt at 'acting', that would get you kicked out of a school play.

It's so, so nearly perfect.

The final season of Bosch is out today, can't wait to watch it.

But for any fans of the show who are not aware, it has already been announced there is a spin-off show which begins filming later this year and will be shown on IMDb TV in the US (no international broadcaster announcements yet).

There’s a great Mary J. Blige doc on Prime at the moment using the 25th anniversary of the My Life album as a platform to dig into the ups and downs of her life and career, and if you love Mary J. Blige it’s an essential watch.

If you don’t love Mary J. Blige, I just can’t help you.

Finished watching Them.

Genuinely not sure what it was trying to do. Horror/mystery and racism. Production values were clearly sky high, but I didn’t get it. Was intrigued by the first few episodes, but it really didn’t know where to go and suffered from a completely unsatisfactory ending. Very disappointing.

Any Amazon Original(tm) shows worth a view? So far have tried Sneaky Pete (embarrassingly shit after the first few episodes), Good Omens (OK, but oddly quite dated feeling) and Star Trek Lower Decks (couldn’t even to finish episode 1).

edit: no suggestions for Top Gear or anything with those people in, please.
