That's from VG247 review - but I don't understand what it's saying? It tells you to use a headset...but then the official one is supported? How can it removed PS4 functionality :S

It's saying that the ones that come packaged with the headset are the in-ear ones. They're decent, and they get the job done, but a big set of over-ear headphones will provide more immersion.

Also wireless headphones won't provide full 3D audio; you need a pair plugged into the breakout-box to get that 3D audio experience.

Ok well, I just flaked and bought from Shopto.

This is after canceling two pre-orders last week as I 'didn't want it'!

Have bough zero games as will try the demos out first.

A quick question regarding the 18 demos for the US PSN Store: can I just set up an account or do I need to pay for PS+ to download demos?

I already have PS+ UK.

Yeah just create an account, activate the PS4 on that account, go to the PS Store, download the demo disc.

I have the official wireless headset 2.0 but you can surely use that with the wire that came for the vita? Or a standard wire if you have one knocking around?

I met my delivery driver today, and he was Robin Ask with, so I was right.

Very impressed with this, for 40 quid its a good purchase I reckon.

can I have the us account as my home ps4 even though I already game share with a friend, or would that then deactivate it as his ps4.

No it wouldn't deactivate the console from your main account, but it does mean your US account wouldn't share any PS+ benefits with your Main account as it's not your activated console on your + Account.

it does not support the wireless function. If you want to use the official big gold headset you need to wire it into the VR remote.

Just caved after reading this, and tried to order via shopto. First Direct's "3D Authentication" had other ideas however. <_<

I'm not gonna call them, I can wait and see how the impressions are from here.

I cancelled my Amazon order and went for ShopTo and had the exact same problems with my NatWest authentication.

Had to use Paypal after spending 30 mins on the phone with them and my bank and getting nowhere.

I think it's okay now though. I have an order number. Breathe, relax...

Rez reviewed on IGN.

Rez Infinite Review
http://www.ign.com/articles/2016/10/12/rez-infinite-review

"By Vince Ingenito Despite being a 13-year-old game retrofitted to work on the PlayStation VR"

great start, its 15 years old. Apparantly its some sort of virtual reality game, he concludes in his review so short I could send it as a text. Non comittally scoring it 8.2 out of 10. What an age of journalism we live in.

Eurogamer on RIGS:

Sadly, based on an hour or so with it this morning, it's going to make a lot of other people very sick. Nausea's a problem with a lot of VR games, but RIGS was always going to be prone to it, I suspect, because it requires such fast turns and sudden movements. It heads right to the inmost cave of things that make you want to puke in VR.

Edge on RIGS:

Despite the fast, multidirectional movement needed to compete, RIGS avoids invoking motion sickness, too."

Well, alright then, that's that issue resolved.

It's on the demo disc so you'll be able to find out for yourself . I suspect a lot of VR titles will affect people in different ways .
