Right... It's quite probably that I'll miss the first game certainly tomorrow. May get back in time but I'm taking it as I won't. Assuming I won't make it, can Saint take the stats for me please?

As I have no idea about Rickjckn, I'll stick us at Full Back.

AL - can you do CB this week alongside Sladie? Need solid experienced defenders against the threat of Athletic! Keeks was f**king shit and let in no end of goals last week in the cup.**

Translation.

Our keeper was our best player! Personally I think we were far too open last night. Me and Saint didn't knock it about, cams were playing as strikers, athletic we're just keeping it on the floor and passing it right through! I think Saint was right, we either go tall strikers and have nippy wingers, or we all go the same and play tacca tacca football. I think I touched the ball twice in the second game.

I don't mind playing anywhere if anyone else wants a stint up top and we'll played smith stock as any you put in a good shift pal

Plus we were miles better in the games after! Good victory in the first game though it was hard worked for

We were a little cluttered at times, but I think that was the knowledge that we knew Athletic has so many attacking players, and we packed out the middle. Yeah maybe we could've passed a bit better, but the formation suited our tactics last night, and considering the opponents, we have to take the positives from it.

I think as saint said we need to do what athletic did and abuse the lifted through ball, this takes out the cb and provides a clear chance on goal. We did it a lot better in the drop ins. As you say we played well against a great side and there are lots of positives, we just need some continual game plan.

If Al doesn't make it back, can you play at CB Saint? Just think you'll be far more reliable than me. Kiko can then go up top, and I'll sit at DMC

Gutted to lose the second game. After being under so much pressure it was a poor goal to concede out of nothing. We lose our shape so easily, both with and without the ball. I think that's the cause of our problems. Onwards and upwards. Will try to come on for a few games before next Thursday.

Results?

Two defeats and much of the same play as in previous weeks.

Very low number of chances created and a very poor pass completion percentage. If there were at least some signs that we could turn around our performances then it'd be something to cling to, but if there are signs, they are well hidden.
