I found this about a month ago, but I didn't want to be lambasted by people saying that it had already been covered. So I searched the forum and it suprisingly hadn't been covered.

This Site about Advent Children has a lot of information including a lot of scans of Japanese magazines with previews of the movie, one has even been translated. Enjoy.

I'm intriegued as to how this will turn out. A lot of people wanted a FFVII sequel, so Square are giving them one - just in a form I'm guessing a lot of people wouldn't have guessed.

Regardless, I'm looking forward to it a great deal - FFVII was the game that got me into RPGs, and it's story holds a special place in my heart.

Plus Sephiroth is badass... ;)

Yes, what gives me hope for this is that this is the first time that the characters aren't all pretty, including the men. For example, before in Square games all the boys looked like girls, Squall looked like Rinoa with a wig and a scar and Irvine was Quistis minus glasses, plus cowboy hat. Zell looks like Tidus who looks like that new guy in FF 12 and they all look like the girl in Parasite Eve etc.. ;)

I know what you mean - even Auron has skin that's far too smooth for a rugged warrior who's been round the block a few times..

They just need to have a fuck-ugly boy and girl combo in FFXIII!

There's an alarm bell ringing in my head saying the same thing, but this could actually be fairly decent. FFVII is an epic, this little film may turn out to be an enjoyable short story set in the same world.

It doesn't look enough like squall, or his gunblade. Final Fantasy 7 and 8 are similarly themed, Cloud strangely had a blade in a futuristic gun weapon oriented world, Barrett had a gun, why shouldn't there be a gunblade in FF7-2?

Just looking through those scans and do my eyes decieve me or is that not Squall from FFVIII with a gunblade?

It's a girl. The two other people with her are probably the other 2 people in that Shinra special force that I forget the name of.
