Double posting always feels a bit naughty but I think quite a few Dreamcast fans will like our latest video, which I've spent the best part of a day uploading.

It's the first hour from Skies of Arcadia in 1080p, this is taken from the US NTSC version as sadly the PAL release doesn't support VGA or 60hz!

I plan to upload a Grandia II video tomorrow! (Edit: Now up)

They explained it on FB the other day. They've been posting 1 show a week for close to 5 years now, they love doing it but they want a rest from it all. They'd still do it even if they had 100 subscribers.

They only went to 1 show a week last year. Before that it was 1 every 2 weeks.

I believe from what I have read that the reason they went once a week was they were trying to turn it into a viable business ( they also joined final bosses) but they have mentioned that there subscribers / viewers hadn't increased since going one a week.

I'm sure give it few months they will be back but I kinda do think they were struggling for new episode ideas for the one a week format.

Advert revenues for gaming channels are heavily down as I understand it, lot of channels at the moments seem to be having problems. Even classic Game Room has now moved to Patreon for backing. Video making and editing on your own is really time consuming and it's hard to stick to weekly deadlines, unless you have a lot of help or stick to short 5 minutes videos.

Another shameless plug for Randomised Gaming with a look at Zoom! on the Mega Drive.

Also we are trying to reach the 200+ subscribers by the end of the week, if you've subscribed already or decide to then tweet me @RDGamerRiven with a retro game or two you would like us to video, I'll pick one at random from the selection from all the suggestions. Otherwise you can all watch me playing the horror that is Hey You Pikachu on the Nintendo 64!!!!! Come Friday.

Time for a video look at Hey You Pikachu! on the N64 (USA & Japan only) with the first hour of gameplay with me trying to see how good or bad the voice controls are:

[Edit] Wow the video window is huge now, since the forum update, any way to shrink? Can't seem to see one.

So to thank our 200+ subscribers on Youtube, I've done a full play through of the Sega Saturn port of Marvel Super Heroes as Spiderman using the official 1MB RAM. In case you've never seen the 1MB in action it adds in full character animation, but it does increase the slowdown present in the game when using it.

Compared to the "record and hope" method of my previous youtube episodes, I've started something new - give it a watch. It's only 5 minutes but took bloody ages to edit and record.

If you've got 5 minutes to kill - take a look at Bloggo taking a look at Konami !
