Damn it. Season 2 is $30 on Prime, so I figured I'd just install the SyFy app and stream it direct. Nope! They're pulling the same stunt as ABC, and only allowing you to stream the last 5 episodes shown, which of course are the last 5 episodes of season 2 because it's been out a while. Why do they keep doing that? Had the same problem with Agents of Shield - binged seasons 1-3 and then couldn't start 4 because the bloody app only had the last 5, and it was mid-season by that point.

Oh well, something to look forward to. Hopefully Prime pick it up soon if Netflix are getting it in July.

It's every episode less than a month old since they fall under a TX+30 licence. If they want to stream older ones they need to pay for the episodes again and rebroadcast them on TV. Royalties stuff.

It comes to Prime Instant Video in the US eventually but Amazon aren't saying when.

Sorry if this goes over old ground, where can I buy season two? For the past year I've been totally legit as far as no torrents. But I can't find anywhere in the UK that I can buy this and I'm sick of the carrot dangling that it might be on Netflix.

I'm just about to finish the second novel (thanks to @Spacehost recondition) and I really want to see how SE2 develops.

Again in sorry if this has already been covered, I just want to avoid spoilers.

The Blu Ray is out in about two weeks in the US and I'll be importing it, so I'll let you know if I find a good seller. Otherwise you could buy Amazon US account credit and buy the series off there to stream (about $30 I think).

What a crock! Why are they doing their damnedest to stop people seeing it? Remember the Cant!!

Just tweeted at netflix uk about s2, will reply if they respond.

I've Tweeted them a few times about it (and also Netflix help) - no reply.

I don't get it. WTF couldn't they get the same kind of distribution deal they have with other UK exclusives where they make them available week-by-week the day after the US?

Yeah, it's probably not big enough for them to be paying Alcon Entertainment for the broadcast rights, unlike BCS/ Orphan Black/ etc.

I wouldn't expect a reply about release dates from Netflix, they usually don't talk about when stuff is arriving or leaving until about four weeks before the changeover.

whenever I ask netflix about release dates you get some reply which at first makes you feel good, until you realise they do it every time.

'wow, great choice, you pick the good ones, that is my favourite too'
