Love the second shot, great timing! Am I mad in thinking the Brawn's were harder to capture than the other cars? The whiteness of the paintjob seemed to throw out my camera...or perhaps, actually, I am just mad.

A bright white car and black track can't help the metering, I had the same issue. I'll try and post a couple up tonight, managed to shoot 750 frames in about 4 hours

St. Helens? As in shite north west town off the east lancs? I grew up there. What's this dream thing?

This, is meant to be the North West's version of 'Angel of the North'

Assume he's talking about this - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dream_(mixed_martial_arts)

Didn't think they had any UK shows though!

You are kidding? Or am I being whooshed?

Haha, no, I thought you were into your MMA and didn't look at the actual post.

I remember seeing that show about that sculpture. What was it like? I prefer it to their original idea which was a big lantern or something like that.

It is a little creepy if I am honest, but was a nice walk to get there. The time of day and the lighting made it difficult to get any real decent pics of the sculpture itself.

Ta, the monkeys were tricky, mainly because there was naff all light and even though they were behind clear glass, most of it was smeared in shit.

I screwed up the beach shots... it was waaaay too bright and even though I stacked the filters to try and cut the light I stupidly managed to put an Orange tinted skylight filter on, meaning everything came out a reddish pinky mess..... might go back to that spot (Kimmeridge bay) closer to sunrise/sunset when the waves are a little bit more active... it was like a millpond yesterday.. and even with a 6 second exposure there was practically no movment at all...

Here another one..

Off to Cornwall camping soon though, so I should get a few more chance to try my hand at that kind of thing... although next time I think i'll take some knee pads....

All my Monkey world ones are here... http://www.flickr.com/photos/keetyuk/sets/72157620597450607/

Pope, I really like them. The orange tint gives an unreal look to them which works well. I agree perhaps a bit more wave action would help though.

King, they are really nice too! I need to get out on the golden hour more.

Got my brothers 10-20mm at the mo so trying to figure out what to use it on. Also got my silverstone shots printed in A4. Printing tip of the day - use Loxley Colour for everything :(
