The biggest improvement you'll notice for pics like that is if you get an external flash.

Yeah. I've allready noticed the flash isn't too great on it. I'm gunna save up for one soon. That and a 2nd lense with a better zoom also.

I went to the zoo today, it's the first time I got a chance to use my camera since I started that thread months ago after I bought it. Anyway, I'm still trying to get the hang of it, most of the pictures here are absolutely beautiful, I'm hoping I can one day do that sort of stuff.

Duncan, how do you get such rich colours? Is it just that the stuff you're taking pictures of happens to be like that? I find a lot of mine have a washed out feeling to them, I love the rich colours in yours.

Anyway, today:

Cheap sushi I got from Waitrose when I went to the park, I just like the colours.

Dunno. I piss about with the exposure a bit, but that's about it. also, they're naturally colourful

I like the processing on most of those nicky, what have you done to them?

The car ones are mostly just playing with temperature in lightroom then overly applying some other things like Fill Light, Recovery and Blacks. i got loads of the old cars that were passing by. when i get more time i'll submit some more for you.
