Just watched this weeks episode on Sky1 (S04e3 iirc) and im a bit underwhelmed. They kinda seem overly smug and annoying., the opening Risky Business kinda rip-off wasnt necessary to show Barry can dance and sing, we know.

The elevator being hacked and used to kill soneone in that way was used in Arrow to

 

Also, the grenade scene was kinda ridiculous even within the context of the show. Or maybe im being a miserable git? i just really enjoyed the first 3 seasons alot and i havent felt like Ibl cared about characters this strongly since Buffy/Angel and Firefly.

Flash is certainly the best it's been for a long time, and also genuinely funny. Dibney is great as a 'U' rated Rudy from Misfits.

I'm not impressed with The Thinker (although Mrs Thinker is hot).

So... he left Oxford to go and teach uninterested fuckwits at Central City University?

 

And he decided that the reason none of the students listened to him was that he just wasn't intelligent enough to MAKE THEM SEE?

 

Mrs Thinker really should have just taken him aside and said "Sorry, darling, but you're actually a really shite teacher, all boring and mumbly - that's why you can't get through to those slackers."

 

Also:

 

- How did he design his Thinking Cap *before* he became "infinitely intelligent" and when he was just a teacher of Japanese history?

 

- Once he did gain his infinite intelligence, why didn't he just cure himself, or design a cyborg body to transplant his brain into, or something?

In fairness to Captain Singh the longstanding gag is that he’s never been fooled. He’s Flash’s Cat Grant.

 

I'm still super suspicious of Harry. It's like they're trying to make me think there's a Devoe connection.

That accent is truly atrocious. And not in a fun Wentworth Miller sort of way.

Once again, a bad situation in The Flash could have been avoided if our heroes were not utter fuckwits.

First they let Amunet get away in her previous episode, instead of knocking her out and sticking her in the pipeline, and now they've gone and done it again... resulting in The Thinker getting a new body and framing Barry.

 

As for that whole new body thing, anyway... WTF? OK, fine, he has transferred his mind into the telepath meta, but what use is that without his "infinitely intelligent" meta-brain? How can he retain his intelligence without his meta-brain?

Also it's a while back but wasn't there something about the knife and some phone calls last episode?  Where was the wheel chair?  Nothing was mentioned in court about any of this.

If Better Call Saul is to be believed the  it's very hard to get a voice recording accepted as evidence. 

 

I quite enjoyed that anyway. It's still a long way off the quality of season 1, but this season's at least been a change from the usual speedster vs speedster fare.

I loved season 1 and couldn't wait for season 2, but I just stopped watching about 10 episodes in. Such a shame. The potential was fantastic.
