Wii u with nsmb - £112 at John Lewis

Recommended Posts

Doh! Out Of stock. I should have bought it when I saw it earlier. Damn my indecision and preference for the Premium one just because it'll fit in with the other consoles.

Question, I'll mostly buy digital. How many games will fit on the Premium?

Depends on the games. Something like Smash Bros, one. Something like Scram Kitty, over 200.

The updated Amazon deal is a reasonable alternative if you want MK8(who doesn't?), a free download title, a couple of wii-motes, Nintendoland and a couple of other titles to play or trade, all for £200.

Right on cue!

Hang on, can you get a wii u with just a normal controller? The one with the screen is not really what I want.

Nope, the Game Pad is an important part of the game play on a few of the games.

Some games you don’t have to use it (like NSMBU) but others its needed for games like Zombi U, Mario 3D World (Toad levels) and Lego City.

I didn’t think the Gamepad was going be much fun but once in your hands, its quite cool and makes the Wii U experience a bit more fun, especially games that use it well like Nintendo Land :).

Looking at the description it doesn't include mk8, despite it being in the picture

All the other packs on Amazon (Zelda, Mario and MK8) are all £199.99 which, again (especially with the free game with MK8) is a good deal to imo.

Id be all over that MK8 pack and pick up Zelda/NSMBU as the free game for £199.99 if I was after one. £200 is a good deal for the fun the Wii U gives, not quite as good value as the John Lewis deal but thats gone now, so...

Ok, sold.

I don't know anything about the Wii U...

Looks like a major bargain that £200 deal.

It's for my little daughter, of course.

Balls. There's always something.

Just check with them via online chat?

I expect that they just forgot to update the description; the picture has been edited from the original to include MK8.

Now saying unavailable and under review. Might have been a mistake or listed too early or something.

Make sure all you new owners buy Wind Waker HD so you can see the best looking game ever looking even better!

Windfall Island in the sunshine is just the prettiest thing ever created.

Games in the MK8 free game deal which I haven't played yet and really want to play:

NSMBU

Pikmin 3

Wonderful 101

Games in the MK8 free game deal which I've technically already played, but am sorely tempted to get just so I can stand on Windfall Island and sail around and gawp and listen and gawp and gawp and gawp:

WInd Waker HD

Glad some of you managed to buy it, as opposed to vultures on HUKD buying dozens.

As mentioned earlier, some great bargains can be had on some other great titles too, an exciting time to be a U owner indeed.

Rayman Legends- £11.99 @ base

Zombi U- £6.85 @ amazon

I grabbed the ZombiU deal from there thanks, but be aware the order needs to be over a tenner if you want to qualify for free delivery. CEX are selling the game for £6.
