Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker

Captain Toad levels being in 3D World was one of the only genuinely 'new' things about the title/only doable on Wii U kind of thing, so I was glad the levels were included.

If it can stand alone is merely down to the number of levels it'll have.

not really, it could have been down on any other console but it was a great addition to the game.

Is the Pad screen having first person Toad a newer thing, then? Can't remember if the 3D World levels had it. (e.g.: bit in the trailer he's throwing stuff at enemies on a wheel cart), but that's what I meant, along with more fluid level cube camera control with stylus, of course.

Mentions of Nintendo saying they want it to come out in 2015 in that article, or the one it links to: none. I'm sure they would like it to (and who wouldn't), but they haven't said so there and certainly haven't promised it. Actually, apart from people saying it I can't find anywhere where Nintendo themselves have directly said it. Did it come up one one of the Treehouse interviews? Might have done, I can't remember.

But anyway, as Toad Tracker shows, no point putting too much stock in any of the potential release dates at the moment really.
