Course they could. I think NoE fancies Smash as the big Christmas game and wants to give Toad room to breathe in the New Year. Sucks from our point of view, but it seems to make a lot of sense from a business standpoint.

Pity, as it really does look like the perfect Christmas Day game.

Looks very nice. Defo some bits from 3d world ( platformer sections). Looks a bit kiddy but its a Nintendo game it will be quality just like 3d world ( we were all slightly questioning the cat suits at the reveal and that turned out great)
