Is it wise to have this released just a week after Christmas? I reckon it'll go unnoticed which'll be shame as it looks fantastic.

I've ordered this from shopto thinking there might be a chance of xmas week delivery with their tendency to get the game to you a bit early and this being out on the 2nd. What are my chances?

Their release date still say's Jan 9th so you'll probably get it a week later.

Nintendo are screwing you guys on the price of this compared to Japan. The RRP here was 3500 yen and I bought it in a shop on day of release for 3300 yen (about £17). Smash brothers is releasing at almost double that price.

Not sure why they released Captain Toad so cheap here. Honestly, I would have been perfectly satisfied with it even if it had been full price.

I've gone for the Amazon one, pissed off the Tesco code isn't working though because I've got some points I could double up to effectively get it for £15 quid from there. Luckily I got the £5 voucher working on Tesco, so down to £25.00 Then I managed to double up exactly £12.50 in clubcard vouchers, making this exactly £0.00 for me to purchase. So very happy about that, first time I have bagged a bargain in ages! Just wish it was out already, my most looked forward to game for many months now.

Yep. They say you get it at the lowest price offered between the point you pre-order and when it goes on sale.

Maybe it was a mis-price and they pulled it so they can avoid discounting yours.

The game was released in Singapore today, just went to pick mine up from Gamescore in Funan and they had tons of stock there.

$54 as well!

Is there any way of finding out how big (in hard drive terms) this game is?

I would really like to have it installed on the system memory but I'm having to ration the Wii U's limited storage carefully. This is one of the reasons I'm disappointed that the game isn't a 3D World expansion pack, as it appears to reuse a lot of the same assets.
