Wow, I never thought this would resurface :D I remember planning to add some funds to my fake JP account on the PSP and see if it turned up on the store before realising how daft that would be. This seems like a better option...

Haha! They've already redacted and said it's not on Vita in the US now, just PS4/Xbone.

@shahidkamal

Whoops, I jumped the gun. Blog post now updated. You can kick me now. (But we will keep on pushing for it and I know you will too)

It's blatantly coming to Vita though!

Just pre ordered this from 365games for £35.99 which is the best price I've seen. Really looking forward to this. The latest trailers looks great, and of course the FFXV demo is a pretty awesome bonus to getting this.

I'm actually looking forward more to Type-0 than I have for any Final Fantasy game in a long time. Really impressed with what they've been showing of it recently, and I like the idea of a FF with a darker tone. It's just a shame that this is coming out so close to Bloodbourne as its going to be tough dividing my limited gaming time between the two.

My copy turned up today and I've played about two and a half hours.

The first hour was pretty bad. Loads of long cutscenes, some pretty ropey looking graphics and a confusing tutorial.

However, once I got into the game and the first mission proper I've been playing it with a massive grin on my face. The gameplay itself is really good and what I've wanted out of a Final Fantasy in a long time (in ways that the other FF13 games hadn't been delivering). It's quite old school in some respects so won't be for everyone, but I'm loving it.

I'm about an hour and a half in and really enjoying it so far. You definitely have to come to it with the understanding that it's a PSP port, but already the characters and setting has me far more invested than any FF game has in many years. Can't wait to play more tonight.
