Dark Souls 2 DLC and that's about it. According to this thing I use my backlog post-Steam sale is 56 games, plus 8 that I want to replay. Quite enough to be getting on with.

Oh, Grim Fandango too.

And Shovel Knight.

May buy a PS3 at the end of the year.

Certs:

Destiny

Dragon Age 3

Then depending on the demo: Driveclub

If I bought a Bone: Forza Horizon 2; Halo Lots Of Shooting Edition

Perhaps: Civ: Alpha Centuri Edition; Fifa 15; Assassins Creed Paris.

Not much on my list..

The Last of Us is on preorder

Driveclub (PS+ version first as a trial though)

Infamous - Fetch

and Metal Gear Solid Phantom Pain & Uncharted 4 when they eventually come out. Won't be 2014 though.

Other than that it's a bit of a quiet year.

Wasteland 2

Pillars of Eternity

Elite: Dangerous

Dark Souls 2 DLC

Are certs. The great thing about the first three is that they show that there is also room for quality gaming experiences nowadays, offering genuine depth as an alternative to the usual overproduced, streamlined and predictable big budget games mentioned earlier in the thread - as fun as those may be of course, diversity is a good thing :D

Captain Toad and Bayonetta 2 are near the top of the list. Legend of Korra as well, 'cause Platinum Games.

Might go for that white PS4 + Destiny bundle and grab TLoU Remastered while I'm at it.

Indies: Shovel Knight, Super TIME Force, Hotline Miami 2, Hyper Light Drifter (already bought) and Velocity 2X for sure.

Evolve looks fun and Evil Within if Mikami delivers, which he does more often than not.

Also, any DLC for Wolfenstein. That game is GOOD.

Games I'll be getting but have already 'bought' (i.e. Kickstarted), assuming they all actually come out this year:

Pillars of Eternity

Wasteland 2

Dyscourse

The Way

Dropsy

Mansion Lord

River City Ransom: Underground

Dreamfall Chapters Episode 1

Games I'll definitely be buying on release in the coming year:

Er, none. Plenty in 2015, but the games I'm interested in this year I'm far from convinced will be worth buying (e.g. Dragon Age 3, Elite Dangerous), so will be waiting for release before deciding.

'Day Woners'

All PS4 / Vita Cross Buy

The Last Of Us,

Hotline Miami 2,

Destiny,

Evil Within,

GTA V

Far Cry 4

CoD Advanced Warfare

Pick up next year when cheap(er)

Alien Isolation

Battlefield Hardline

Driveclub

Evolve

Infamous DLC

I know everyone's like 'next gen has no gamez' but I think thats a real solid lineup for the second half of the year. No doubt the start of 2015 is gonna be insane too, god knows I can't wait to get stuck into Batman.
