Such a great episode last night.

 

The exchange between Andy & his boss over the hedgehog was priceless, as was the solution to Lance's daughter renting the longboat & not forgetting the B.A.T credentials sequence.

My favourite bit was Lance coming up with the moving idea after Andy mentioned it. Brilliant show, love it.

It's amazing, the dialogue flows so naturally. Even when it's Toni and Lance being so awkward with each other.

 

The pocket-dial was so clever too.

The best part was them walking 'nonchalantly' away from the taped off tree, managing to look like the guiltiest two guys in the world.

Just about as perfect as anything can be for three whole series. Shall miss it very much.

 

(The music played when they lifted the gazebo was an homage to the barn raising in 'Witness'.)

This show was an absolute joy from beginning to end. Loved it.

Absolutely magical TV. Parts of it made me cry, parts made me whoop with joy, but most often it made me smile whilst feeling as comfortable as a pair of slippers. The most perfect ending in every way.

A perfect show from start to finish. From the moment the 'mute' girl proposed, there were tears right through to the end. Really going to miss all those characters and the setting, made me feel quite homesick, in a good way.

I've been catching these late night at weekends, you can just dip in and still enjoy it.

 

The scene where

Spoiler

Lance is talking about his daughter with the lemonade lady (I'm bad with names) implies she had a child that died

is still one of the most wonderful scenes I've ever seen. Incredible acting as well.

 

It's easy to forget in life so many people carry grief and tragedy inside themselves.
