Ah yeah Pokemon would be on my list as well. Another one of those that I've had a bit of an interest in checking out but just never have done. I've barely touched the Megaman series either aside from Legends and MM2 on the GB, would love to eventually get into some of those.

Mass Effect would have almost been on this list, except I'm enjoying my time on it for the first time right now.

Final Fantasy 7. I want to, it's just that the graphics have aged badly and I know the big shock is that Aeris dies.

Knowing she dies is a plus point. You won't stick the silly bint in your party when you could be levelling someone else up instead. Loads of people quote it as the most moving bit of any game - I was just concerned I might have lost the kit she had equipped at the time, and miffed at the time I'd wasted having her in the group. It's story clashing with gameplay, and it wasted everyone's time. I don't remember it being handled well enough to make me care in the slightest, so the respect it's given baffles me.

I suspect I might be a heartless bastard.

Oh, the usual suspects - Shenmue, Street Fighter III: Third Strike, Jet Set Radio, Metropolis Street Racer, Virtua Tennis, Phantasy Star Online, Crazy Taxi, Marvel Vs Capcom 2, Bangai-O, Chu Chu Rocket, Power Stone, Headhunter. I also have an abiding love for Tech Romancer, but I can understand if others have missed that title/don't share my feelings on that ;)

I feel like I have played an example of virtually every series I have ever had an interest in, even if only for 30 minutes, but my one blind spot is World of Warcraft and MMORPGs in general. Never even fired up a demo for 15 minutes, although I was always curious at the time about games like Ultima Online and Eve. I was just too afraid that that way lay madness, having seen friends sucked into them over the years and not being able to trust my occasionally compulsive tendencies.

I may give Elder Scrolls Online a go when it comes out on PS4 though, just because a) no sub, b) it probably won't be awesome enough to suck me in for any detrimental length of time.

Pretty much any PC only game ever. Even when I was playing PC games in '97-'05 most had versions on other platforms. Sim City 4 was an exception.

Even now it's rare. Civ V is one of the few recent ones.

Never played any MMORPG, aside from a month long dabble in Anarchy Online back in 04/05. I think it was one of the first free to play MMORPGs? That's why I played it, anyway.

I'm just glad the theme of WOW has never appealed because I'm sure I'd be lost forever if I'd have played it.

There's a hell of a lot that I javent played but the big ones that I havent would have to be the following.

Shenmue 1&2 - Never had a Dreamcast or had a close friend who did either. They're both games I'd love to play but in short of buying a Dreamcast and the games I don't think I'll ever get chance.

Any Final Fantasy - I just can't get into turn based fighting. I belive some of the newer ones have stepped away from this (not sure) but the look of them still doesn't interest me.

Mario 64 and Galaxy - Never had an N64 and by the time I did own a Wii I just never found to time to go back and play Galaxy.

Resident Evil 4 - I stopped playing them after 3 but I have the Wii version of this, so going to give it a go in the near future. 4 seems to be regarded as the best so I definitely need to get it played.

Any Zelda game - When I was younger they didn't interest me and then I had Playstations and Xboxes post SNES. I never bothered with it on the Wii either. I've got a WiiU though so maybe there's still time to play a few.

WOW - Never got into the online subscription gaming. the game itself seems very up my street but I'm lucky to find time to play simple corridor shooters these days, nevermind massive online RPGs
