Use your stars by the end of September, or in the US use your coins by the end of June, or they're gone forever. This is an EU and a US shutdown, the service is to be replaced with a New Thing.

So maybe this thread can be used for code trading as well as discussion? I know for sure I'd love a few US codes if anyone has any they didn't plan to use. I wanted to get to platinum status this year but with the short cut-off date I'm going to run out of time before I buy enough stuff, I'm a few hundred short. :(

The site is pretty fucked right now. I'm trying to do surveys on the US site and getting errors after answering all the questions so I have to do them all again.

The US site and the UK site are completely separate, so one running like shit is not a reason for the other :)

Well yeah, but there are reports from GAF of the UK site running like a shite right now, my experience of the US site was a separate issue.

It's pretty annoying getting to the end of one of those surveys and being told to do it again!

The only thing I ever bought with the star points was the chance to buy the original Nintendo DS VIP Pack in 2005 that got you a DS a few weeks before release, t-shirt, Mario 64 DS and a couple of demo carts for Wario Ware Touched and Metroid.

So I've just cashed in some points for my Wii U + 6 games and don't even have enough for a bloody CD! Not very rewarding is it? I wonder if it'll be worth spending up asap or waiting to see if anything decent gets added in the coming months.
