Formula One - 2015 Season

The only glimmer of hope is that last season Lewis strolled Sepang and China before Nico suddenly worked it out at Bahrain, which is a place he usually goes well at.

If Lewis walks away next weekend it's definitely all over - Nico has been closer in the first few races than he was last year, but isn't doing himself any favours by being a moaning dickface right now.

Somewhat awkwardly I dislike both Mercedes drivers rather intensely. Should probably start cheering on Toro Rosso - Verstappen seems to be the real deal!

Colour me a fully fledged Max Verstappen fan. Awesome stuff today from him. Easy for Lewis, nico looks lost. When Lewis was behind last year he'd hound the crap out of Nico if it killed the tyres or not. His "come on guys" comment when he came 2nd in quali said it all. I'd like Lewis to be a bit more challenged but considering his history hard to begrudge him a bit more of an easy ride when the opportunity presents itself.

Watching the Louisiana Indy GP on BT Sport. The track is wet so they are lapping under the safety car to help dry it but every time the safety car goes in someone crashes and they have to do the whole thing all over again. They are on lap 30 so far and Montoya is leading but the whole thing is farcical.

Rosberg needs to stop whining and get on with it. If Hamilton is going too slow catch up and overtake.

I was at Silverstone this weekend for the WEC opener. Between that, the F3 and ELMS I saw nearly 12 hours of racing that was pretty much non-stop action up and down the field. After 201 flat-out laps of the WEC, there were a handful of seconds between a top three that were all different manufacturers with totally different technology approaches. 20 incredible laps in the middle where the leaders ran nose-to-tail and the lead swapped 2-5 times each lap, as they battled each other and dealt with moving through the other classes.

Then I listened to the F1 on the way home and it's just whining about not being able to overtake your teammate and Maldonado crashing in the pitlane.
