PERKS
You have 12 perks points to assign, you can only choose a maximum of one perk from each section. You must assign your Perks by PMing me and post in the thread to let Wincho know you have submitted them, as you need to make your choices before you can finalize any deals. Perks will only be revealed where necessary, so if you're planning on using underhand tactics like injuring or disrupting players it will only be me and you who know about it! Unless you want to shout about it if you pull off a great scheme but thats upto you. :)


Injury Prevention
A magic sponge can be used to return a player to full fitness - A magic sponge can be used anytime during the season. Invincible would mean one nominated player from your squad can never be injured - to mark a player as invincible you must do so before the transfer window closes. If you sell an invincible player they are no longer invincible.

  • 1 additional Magic Sponge - 2 Perk Points
  • 2 additional Magic Sponges - 4 Perk Points
  • Invincible! - 5 Perk Points

Filthy Tappers.
if you are finding a manager is reluctant to sell you a player you really want, you can Tap a player up. The cost is an additional 20% ontop of their value. The Tapping window opens when the NON FTL Transfer window opens.

  • 1 Tap - 2 Perk Points
  • 2 Tap - 3 Perk Points
  • 3 Tap - 4 Perk Points

Plugging the Leak.
Protect your players from any would be Tappers. New signings do not need to be protected as a player can only move once during the window. If a player is successfully blocked you will recieve 20% of the player basecost in fine fees from the would be Tapper! (You must choose the players when choosing Perk.)

  • 2 Tap Blocker - 1 Perk Point
  • 4 Tap Blocker - 2 Perk Points
  • 6 Tap Blocker - 3 Perk Points
  • Tap Block Whole Team - 5 Perk Points

Extra Moneys Please!
Increase your starting wage funds by the percentages below.

  • Additional 5% wages. - 1 Perk Point
  • Additional 10% wages. - 2 Perk Points
  • Additional 15% wages. - 3 Perk Points
  • Additional 20% wages. - 4 Perk Points
  • Additional 25% wages. - 5 Perk Points

Increase your starting transfer funds by the percentages below.

  • Additional 5% funds. - 1 Perk Point

Going Abroad.
Add an additional Non FTL on top of your current amount. A NON FTL players value is 30% higher than a players base cost would be from within the premier league.

  • 1 Additional Non FTL - 3 Perk Points
  • 2 Additional Non FTL - 6 Perk Points
  • 3 Additional Non FTL - 9 Perk Points

Player Power!
Cause a rift between a player and his team with underhand tactics to the point where he will refuse to pull on that teams shirt for the rest of the season.

  • Distrupt a random player from a club of our choosing. - 2 Perk Points
  • Choose a particular player to disrupt - 5 Perk Points (You must choose the player when choosing Perk.)

Master Tactician.
Use of custom formations is a forbidden art, but perks can unlock doors!

  • Allowed to use custom formations - 5 Perk Points

Chairmans Fees.
A chairman takes a 10% slice of every player sold! Make him go away and keep the big money from those big sales to re-invest in your squad.

  • Reduce to 5% - 2 Perk Points
  • Reduce to 0% - 3 Perk Points

Scouting into the Loan Market.
Send a scout out into the Loan market, and see what he can bring you back. Loan deals are fully paid for by the parent club.

  • Bring in a randomized NON FTL player - 2 Perk Points
  • Bring in 2 randomized NON FTL player - 3 Perk Points

Winchcrunching!
Football is a filthy game, its about time you started playing it that way. (Can be sponged away)

  • Injure a random player from a club of your choosing for half the season. - 1 Perk Points
  • Injure a specific player for half the season - 3 Perk Points (You must choose the player when choosing Perk.)

Quick Sale
Sell one of your players for base value to a NON FTL Club. (You must choose the player when choosing Perk.)

  • Sell a player to a NON FTL Club - 3 Perk Points
  • Sell 2 Players to a NON FTL Club - 5 Perk Points



Buying and Selling players:
-In the attached spreadsheet you will find your budgets for transfers and wages, as well as a list of players minimum values and wages.
-A player cannot be sold for less than their asking price but can be sold for more.
-You must ensure you have the funds and wages in your account to pay for a new player or the deal will fall through.
-You can buy and sell as many players as you like providing your squad does not have more than 40, or less than 17 players in it.
-Players can only move ONCE per window, so be absolutely sure you've done the right thing when you make those purchases as there is no going back.
-If you cannot sell your players but need to shift them off your roster to free up some wages or space, you can pay their contract off by paying for their asking price with your own funds.
-When selling a player 10% of your sale funds go into the chairman's pockets, you know to cover printer ink and that.

Buying players owned by other FTL Managers
You can PM other managers to negotiate deals or do so openly in the thread.

When announcing a done deal, post in the thread, this will then need confirming by the other manager. Once done it will be added to the spreadsheet by myself/Wincho


Buying NON FTLs players
The Window for buying NON FTLs will open on each Tue/Wed/Thu Night at 8PM till and close at Midnight that same night.

The only NON FTLs available will be added to the spreadsheet on the day the window opens, and mainly consist of the worlds elite teams.

Managers can name someone they wish to bid on at any time during the 8pm to Midnight window.
To nominate a player you need to post the following info -
Player Name
The Club they are from
Price you are bidding (Must be at least their minimum value)

Other Managers may then bid if they want to but must bid more than the current price.
Minimum Bid Increases -
Less than 5.0M = 0.1
5M - 10M = 0.5
10M+ = 1M

Please quote the post of the Manager you are outbidding or your bid will not count

After 20 minutes of inactivity (no higher bids received) the player is deemed to have been bought by the highest bidder
The 20 minute clock re-starts however on each increased bid
IMPORTANT - the 20 minute clock freezes at midnight each night and does not countdown any more until 8pm the following night
This means that to win a player in this style of bidding, you must hold the winning bid for 20 minutes during the 8pm to midnight window (or a total of 20 minutes at the end of one night and start of the next)
If on the final night on Saturday a player goes over the Midnight window he will continue to be open until someone makes a winning bid lasting 20 minutes.

Fixtures
Will be divided up into home and away.

You play each person once, then play them again in the second half of the season.

Each half season of fixtures can be played in any order


Injuries identified by the plaster icon in match stats screen
Players injured in any game in the first half of the season are ruled out until the mid season transfer window
Players injured in the second half of the season will take no further part
Using a magic sponge will mean the player is immediately available for selection but sponges are one time use only so use them sparingly when really needed

Please ensure the injuries for both teams are reported in your match reports and once players are injured that they don't feature in that remaining half of the season.

You can use your sponges at any time but you must make it clear in the thread who you are using it on so the spreadsheet can be amended.

-DO NOT PLAY INJURED PLAYERS.
-DO NOT USE CUSTOM FORMATIONS. (Unless you opted for the perk allowing them)

Transfer Window Opens - Sun 08/02/2015
Non FTL/Tapping Window opens - Tue 10/02/2015 20:00
Transfer Window Closes - Fri 13/02/2015 at Midnight
1st Half of the season Starts - Sat 14/02/2015
1st Half of the season End - Sat 07/03/2015
Mid Season Transfer window & Non FTL Window - Sat 07/03/2015
Mid Season Transfer Window Closes - Wed 11/03/2015 at 20:00
2nd Half of the season Starts - Thu 12/03/2015
2st Half of the season End - Thu 05/04/2015
(Thats 3 weeks per each half of the season to get 12 games played!)

Haha fair enough. We did finish same points like. Seems awfully convenient that you snuck up to 3* especially when considering Middlesbrough are a 3* team, haha. :hat:

Haha! Wincho did our ratings, I cant say I disagree with him and i dont think many people would in putting us at the same level! Youve got that winning pedigree!

I dont mind dropping to 2.5 though if you think thats more fair.

The wheeling and dealing starts next weekend

It's much more fluid in terms of when you play than the regular 1v1 league but it is likely to be a bit faster paced than 1 fixture every two weeks -

The season will be split into two halves

There will be a mid seaon transfer window where you can refresh your squad a little bit

You'll play everyone once in each half

You could play everyone across a couple of evenings if you wanted

The key thing is that you have to report both the score and any injuries sustained to players from either team (players marked with a plaster in the match stats) in the thread

Players injured in the first half of the season are out until the second half unless you have a magic sponge (each sponge has just one use)

Players injured in the second half of the season are out of the game unless you use a sponge

There are other things Steely and I are working on (perks could be back and some of the new ones you can pick are nasty!!!) that make the front end a bit more fun

You can only openly transfer with other managers in the league.

Regarding players from elsewhere you have a small handful of NonFTLs which you use to buy players from foreign clubs like Bayern, Real etc, this is done in a bidding thread.

Again it will all be come a bit clearer as we go on and post up the guidelines for the season.

Couldn't the people not in the same star rating as Cary still take their pick. Like whoever Gooner, Steely and Jamin pick won't be affected by who Cary picks as they can't pick that team anyway. same goes with Graham, Shalo and Sean but Graham still needs to pick first. Or does it need to go in that order?

People dont have to pick there star rating, they can pick below it if they choose so it needs to go in order really as unlikely as it maybe that somekne plumps for blackpool instead of Jamin but it could happen!

PS Jamin, which ever rating sofifa says they are as of the latest update.
