Lessee... off the top of my head, in particular order;

GT4 - not played a GT game since the original, and I'll be getting a steering wheel too, so that should be quite a nice experience

MGS: Twin Snakes/MGS3 - both these games are looking great, I'll be getting them on release

Forbidden Siren - from what I've heard and seen on the website, this may well be the survival horror experience of the year... unless...

Resident Evil 4 - unless Capcom can really pull out all the stops and put Resi back at the top where it belongs - anticipating this one with hope

Half Life 2 - this is going to be awesome, without a doubt. THE PC game of the year, maybe even game of the year, I can't wait to shoot things

Halo 2 - and speaking of shooting things, Halo 2 is another runner for game of the year. With Live play and improved buddy AI, I can't see how Bungie can go wrong

Doom 3 - it looks freaky, it looks fun... I'm confident id can pull through with Doom and deliver a great experience

GTA - whatever - whatever the name is, it's safe to bet on the new GTA game as being great

Hmmm, that's all I can think of for the moment. Obivously a PAL release of Initial D would be nice, but I think those are still only rumours, and I'm not holding out for it. It's going ot be a GREAT year for games, I know that much.

Guest Pandemona

Half Life 2 - Loved the original (except Blueshift, that was a tad boring).

MGS3/Twin Snakes - Loved the original and 2nd MGS. MGS3 will really push the PS2 to its limits... I'll get that on release.

Trium Planeta

GTA - I hope its more of a Liberty City with Vice City features, eg, motor bikes/helicopters etc.

FFX-2 - I've heard its quite a poor sequel, but I'll prolly still get it.

Jade Empire is the Bioware thingy, yes? It should be good. I've just started playing Neverwinter Nights (after some spazzing around with my machine - I'm a complete PC game newbie). Anyway, it's just like KOTOR! I didn't even have to read the manual. That's my kinda game.

As for other things... erm...

Gradius V. Despite the fact that all the others in the series are by far the shoot 'em ups I'm worst at.

Some more rhythm action stuff - but not the singing ones.

Fuck yeah! Of course.

Judging from the footage (which had some nice devlopers commentry on it) of an early demo on IGN it's going to be LUSH.

Such a shame that games like Shenmue, B&GE, P.N.03, ICO, REZ, Viewtiful Joe, will never get big sales like mainstream games (Medal of Honour, FIFA etc..). It's only us hardcore that enjoy/buy games such as the above, but sadly they don't sell in big quantities. So the developer is always questioning developing sequels, to these enjoyable original games ;)

On the other hand, it's what makes them unique. If every original new game got zillions of sequels, it would just be another franchise-milker in which 'the original was better'.
